Sell out? Of pre-orders? Is that even a thing when apparently the factory will make them as many as they want? They can keep the preorder going until the rifles ship. They will just have the factory make as many as people sign up for.

Speaking about that... has the factory started making them yet TI?

This seems persuasive to me. However, the scarcity principal is good for sales (cialdini). Therefore, it is always best to market things as limited supply.

Well they advertised 500 of each. So they have qualified the limited supply. Whether or not they publicize adding more than 500 really makes no difference to the perception of scarcity.

Though I appreciate a healthy dose of trolling, there's been like 20 pages since you last posted and the only thing you posted was about another retailers failed T97? I don't care about T97, I care about Type 81.
Any update on whether these are in production yet? Still arriving this winter?

Lol...this thread is off the hook...it gives me the same feeling as reading tabloids and then talking about it on break at work...always good banter...my hopes are still high, and will remain as such until TI says, "sorry guys, they're not coming, here's your money back" or a different importer has the same(at least pattern) rifles ready to ship. An update would be nice,TI...just pester them, doesn't the squeaky wheel mean anything to the Chinese firearms manufacturers? At least a date, rather than a season, that production is scheduled to begin...even if it changes, at least we know you guys are on top of it...I can handle disappointment, unlike some nutz.

There is 10 rds AK pistol magazine, but would not fit t81. If we want 10 rds magazine, TI is gonna convince Poly making a T81 pistol variant first.
