GSPs are built like tanks, as nearly indestructible as it is possible for a target pistol to be. You are aware that the OSP (22short) is both an orphan and without a sport since the rule change in the naughties. For the GSP both 22 and 32 the only things that I’ve known to break are firing pins and the slide hold open. I used walthers for about thirty years and only broke one firing pin, other folks had likewise rare problems. The main thing to be careful of is the screws holding the slide weights on the 32 need to be regularly checked for tightness - definitely not a good thing to have one fall off during rapid fire. Parts are still available - check with Airguns Plus, Harvey is sure to be able to help.
cheers and enjoy!
