new toy

Yup, super stoopid!
I forgot to add a couple also, but your point is the same as mine, he could have
had one built for the same or less with the same stuff up here.

Now, to addres the issue of Old Badger's TRG, YES! He did buy it for less than
$1,000, because it sat on the rack at a shop for several years, there wasn't even load data available for it when he bought it.
He paid quite a bit more for the brass than we do now, becuase of its availablility then also.

And yes, he dropped down onto the beach, using a log
in the MPAJ (monkey phucking a jug) position and with a sale clearance 8-32X Tasco tactical scope on it from Midway, dropped them into the target at 1,100 yards. Bullets were big Seirras IIRC.
He had hte rifle for quite a while before he managed to get some brass for it.
We were in the zone that evening and verything we shot was shooting great!:D :dancingbanana:

Just what i thought would happen .. the dude disappeared after getting told the truth. Probably really sorry he slapped $10,000 down on his dad's credit card now. A little more research and lot less yapping would be prudent.

Oh well .. lesson learned.

:D

We have some of the best builders around up here! $10,000.00 for a custom build????? All I can say is WOW:eek: Should I say "EEK" again?

Support local,,, Canadians have bills to pay too!!! If we don't support the guys up here then when we want / need to do buisness with them they may not be there anymore.

To say that no one up here could fill the bill, man  , me thinks someone didn't do their homework before they went back to school. Oh, and paid an insane amount of money for a precision rifle :D

ok, time to fess up, only the specs of this thread are true.......
rifle is really $5000.00 us.......
I really don't have an attitude ......
I await the rubukes.
No more rebukes, but I'm starting to understand your choice of sig line.

I think if one of you guys buy a full kit Timberwolf, and ammo or reloading comp. I pretty sure you will not have all that much left or any of that 10000.00 at all. I can think of only a couple of canadian builders that can put out a quality rifle like that and one is very very busy.

I guess, the gun looks alright, but for that kind of money,i'd get myself a "Unique Alpine".I am not saying, your gun won't shoot, but the whole thing does not look too appealing to me,but that's just a matter of taste. As for your comment:Why do you think, that no one on that forum is able to buy a gun like yours? As other members said before, you don't need to go down south in order to get quality either.Perhaps, next time engage your brain before you write something, that might potentially upset people-especially if there was no reason to do so.

What the...?

I thought that I was opening an interesting new thread to read. This is that same tired old POS that was here yesterday, but with a new-and-improved and less irritating and insulting title.

By the way, "rebukes" will be coming your way. "Rubukes" are, I believe, some type of Bulgarian radishes.

Enjoy your toy.

Gee, what a warm welcome to a new guy of what ,,,35 posts ? You should all be very proud.:dancingbanana:

I sincerely hope, for the sake of CGN members in the firearms industry, that they don't require this kind of support in order to survive. Frankly, I can't see how, on behalf of Canadian dealers, insulting a prospect who is willing and able to make a $10M purchase is particularly good for business.

Our sport is already suffering attrition due, in part, to the socially accepted bashings we suffer in the media and elsewhere. Now, an all too rare new guy shows up and what do we do ? We bash him,,, friggin brilliant!

Truth is, you've got a damn nice toy here, it just wasn't the best idea to go about the way you did, but that's in the past. Give us an update on when you get it, and be sure to post a range report!

thanks my friend, a bit of fun got way too many noses turned up, I can say I learned my lesson, but in truth I'm always in awe of what people will write in response to someones thread, I too am interested in what people have to say but would rather stand on the firing line and hope I can meet someone new who is a rare (good guy) and have a dip, a coffee and some good laughs. To all the rest of you who got so worked up, r e l a x, everyone can be a professional or the tough guy or the on scene expert hiding behind their keyboard

I'll post some pics once I'm up and running and will eagerly await all your info, both good, bad and holy shi$ are you ever fuc%ed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, will be more serious and forthright
Please realize , the internet is full of posers that would not make statements like that in person to the people they talk to on the forums.
There were a few that replied to your post that build World class rifles and are World class shooters themselves, and not kknowing that your post was in jest naturally went Postal ( one in particular who built an"F" class rifle I have shot)

I myself also look forward to your posts once you get the rifle .

Exactly, it took most of us not enough of ammo for you to win. That's like bragging that you beat a one legged man at a foot race. :D
