As most of us have been friends for 17+ years we enjoy mucking about and having fun. Instead of being a sour grape maybe put in some viable info or ask what the hell is going on and we will enlighten you.

Better yet head out west and see what all the fuss is about, backyard ranges and comps on the CFB bases are just a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool guns, good food, bevvies and AWESOME friends.

I always like to add, you civies will just never understand.

Actually I mentioned is once before, not several times, the "several" times were about builders who built rifles just as good as your Patriot, or what ever the truth is or what ever it is you really have.

I really do have the Patriot, I'm hoping it's going to be all I expected it to be, I actually have the guy who built it "Jered Joplin" coming up to hunt for two weeks this fall so I'm assuming he didn't sell me just a plinker.

I'm glad you have info on Can. products, I hope I can pick your brain one day and get some insight. As I mentioned, I didn't get much help up here, even with the wife once working in the industry.

I think I did pretty damn good considering I've only been pistol shooting pistol for 4 months, and maybe only 300 rounds at that. :D

Things are going good but these city girls aren't as easy as I thought they'd be. :(

I also laughed at the guy saying you spend daddy's credit card. He must have bigger balls than me. You're a big, mean, ugly looking bastard. At least that was my first impression. :runaway:

Hold on a sec...good food at Wainhole? You want good food? Go to the new CFB Chilliwack (not sure what it's called now), they have a cooking school on base (it's an RCMP base).

Coming from Pet to Chillwack was one of the greatest moves the army ever did for me. They actually had females there, and mountains and some of the best 4x4ing ever!!! Screw the food, when your leaving the wack' and are among the dairy farms on the way to Hope. Look up Church Mountain and notice the big avalance scar in the side of the mountain. Now imagine going to the top and rolling car and truck tires down that bast%#d, Amazing, and I've got the tapes t prove it. It sure has grown since I left there in '95 but tons of GREAT memories there.

I've heard they still don't miss the Combat Engineers there!!! hee hee

THE GIMP IS FREE AND COVERED IN BUTTER....mmmmmmmmmmm butter so soft and smooth Anyway when is coffee and spanmking time let do it his week. I know bully and the last time he was at the range He let a young female shooter fire his 338 ( over 20 rounds) that i think was a mighty good thing to will do. I am sure Big well even let me shoot his rifle when he gets it I am no means a distance shooter (well except the 200m meter with the mossberg at the 200 meter gongs). But enough of this lets pick on Klunk for a few minutes now :) mmmmmmmmmmmmmm butter he got a real pretty mouth.....mmm but so does gunplumber mmmmmmmm mouth with beard

For sure, you want to come out when we can get on tower hill on CFB Wainwright, nobody, including the artillery can shoot the distance of that range, plus there are tons of neat things to paste downrange.

Funny you should write, I was looking at some of your pics and thinking I should grab a couple of bottles of whiskey, my camper and drive the 3 or so hours north, you have some nice looking toys. I'm hoping the .338 will be in soon (customs sucks a##) and I'm just fine tuning some .300 wm and .22-250's and would love to come corrupt some new people with my charm and wit ((BULLSH*T)
