Why? If you buy a new car, should the dealer sell gas as well or do you just go to the nearest gas station to fill up on your choice of gas?

Some powders have flash inhibiting additives in them which don't work well in igniting the tracers.

In my 223 I use 25.5gr of varget behind a tracer. Never had one not light.

My range has a no fun rule. One of the collaries is No Tracers.

So 22LR and 308 for in-the-bush.
