So I bought an XCR from a fellow gun nutter with a different intention than most. It is going to be my new truck gun; I want to use it for everything from coyote to groundhogs to whatever, I work all over Canada on the road and it is going to travel with me. I think it will be a good test for the XCR I hope I’m not going to regret this decision. I will update with some pics as soon as I get it and keep everyone posted on how it handles. I am replacing a Remington 870.
I hope the seller isn't mad I used one of his photos.
No bipod, no scope

It's a very "cool" choice but I'm not sure a 2000ish dollar gun would be my first choice as a truck gun. Make sure you keep us posted on how well the finish holds up.

Perfect truck gun. at 2k it's built to live in a truck and fire when asked. Nice to see a gun getting used for it's intended purpose. Congrats. I may be odd, but I like the looks of a well used gun

This gun is going to get used and abused... I love the look of a well worked gun, and I think the way you think... RobArms didn't make this bad boy to sit in a safe. I am sure whatever I am going to give it will be nothing it can't handle... I hope.

Awesome truck gun.

Good Stuff!

Looks great! The reason I want the 6.8 is because it will give me the ability to hunt with it here. DNR requires 100gr bullets and at least 1500ft/lbs muzzle energy for anything bigger than a varmint so at least I will be able to hunt wolf & caribou with it.

Regards,
