And yet the law and law enforcement say otherwise

Proving your BS wrong is not trolling, posting up BS and refusing to prove the legal reference for it is

That's not the correct way to measure the bore. That's how they're measured for choke threading. According to international standards that I found on Google Search, bores are measured in front of the forcing cone from the breech end. On my 12ga. shotguns, they measure 18.67 for my Higgins and 18.72 for my Rem 870 Wingmaster. Don't know about the tolerances for 10 ga.

Stop posting your BS

Post the law that says your google search is the legal standard in Canada

willing to go in front of a judge with a tweet from a drunk vs a lawyer with the following picture????

That's not the correct way to measure the bore. That method is for measuring for choke threads. Google Search shows international standards measure shotgun bores at the front of the forcing cone from the breech end. My 12ga. Higgins and Rem 870 measure 18.62mm and 18.76mm respectively.

Bill Blair

10 and 12 gauge shotguns were not prohibited on May 1st. Canadians deserve accurate information. Please see an important clarification below:

Why do you post Bill Blair’s opinion? Anything he says after the OIC passed has no bearing on the law.

I agree. Further, where is it legal standard that a Tweet provides a clarification on an OIC? Pretty lame guys and really shows the "well it's not my X firearm on the chopping block" mentality. Friedman and Burlew gave legal opinions on the matter and that isn't enough? Lawyers are typically extremely wary of posting written opinions and both did here. Getting ridiculous at this point.

I do like the part where he refers to "acceptable firearms industry standards". Good to know those trump the letter of the law!

We should have known the firearms industry defines the parameters of the law for the Lieberals, they proved that when they tasked SNC Lavalin with setting Canada's international ethics standards.

I've read it, and not denying it. Also not hiding my 12ga either. I'll continue to use it, as you should too. Or just give in, whatever suits you.

Here's a thought. Kill this thread and have the mods delete it. Several reasons:

1. Publicly listing guns the feds may or may not have missed is stupid.
2. The whole concept of FUDDs is stupid. It assumes that anyone who doesn't agree with your approach to the issue doesn't care about the gun grabbers. It assumes that these people don't own black rifles, handguns, and other favorite targets of gun grabbers. It appears to assume that these people are predominately older. It ignores the possibility that those folks are smarter strategically than the inexperienced greenhorns doing the spouting off. (see point #3)
3. Strategy and tactics are the way to victory (military-trained will recognise the value of this). Anyone posting about 10 and 12 ga shotguns and especially anyone engaging the press or the government on this issue, is just the inexperienced patsy they're looking for. You see, the OIC will now be overshadowed by the "controversy" it stirred up. The press will report, not on the fact that military grade weapons are already prohibited in Canada, but on the controversy raging on twitter and message boards about shotguns. The Liberals will make a big show of clarifying that they never had any intention of going after Uncle Joe's bird gun and that all they are banning are HORRIBLE KILLING MACHINES. End of story. You succeed in stopping only the controversy you yourself started, and the Liberal's OIC sails through untouched. Those on here trying to stir up shotguns owners are shooting themselves in the foot (pun intended)
4. No strategy that has as it's foundation a "black rifles are no more dangerous than hunting rifles" or a "you can't define black rifles without including a bunch of shotguns and gopher guns" approach will ever reverse this OIC. To do that, you need to show that it's purpose (that being to get military grade rifles off Canadian streets) has been a reality since they were prohibited - which they already are. The actual Act of Parliament under which they were prohibited does a better job of controlling them than this hastily written OIC. Why do we need the OIC, except for virtue signaling for the Lieberals.
5. Want a strategy that will actually work? Buy a Liberal Party membership. As party members, demand a leadership review. Vote for a blue liberal for the next leader. Donate cash to the CPC like your guns depend on it because they do.

Most important of all, stop posting threads like this. Do you think the Lieberal cabinet posts their ideas ahead of time?

MODS - Please delete this whole abomination of a thread!!
