New Version Ruger 10/22... Head's Up

Totally agree with you on the factory mags!
However iirc CZ does make a semi auto........
The fact that I still cant get over is its a dressed up 10/22.
Atleast its not $800+ like the SR22.
Finally a good wood stock.
Now put in a bx trigger, better barrel and youd have a real rifle.

V:I: Dude, there is a reason you are called out trolling constantly. you have an uncanny talent for expressing sarcasm and ignorance through your posts. calm down on the exclamation marks and chill out a bit once in a while. I really enjoy the rimfire section of this forum but i think i can speak for everyone when i say i'm getting pretty sick of your ignorance.

I see the 10/22 the same way....no way I could live with the OEM plastic trigger housing and barrel, hell even the target 10/22 is barely hunting accurate out of the box. So I'd be into one of these for about $900 after it was all said and done.... Not worth it lol
 
I have owned one of these for years other than - mine is the mannlicher in a deluxe checkered stock - no raised cheek rest - I have recently bought the mannlicher stock in the Ruger green mountain laminate colours with raised cheek rest - really cool is the Ruger barracuda take down - not in Canada yet - Clayton at prophet river is keeping an eye out for them
 
I stopped in at Corlane's a few years back, and noticed a decent 10/22FS. I asked the fellow if they had any more. he told me that they normally don't take people upstairs, but he did. I said if he took me up, I would buy one. We went up and looked a two or three. They were nothing to get excited about, but the fourth one he opened the box, and before he turned around with the rifle, he says, "Congratulations, sir!" It was a beauty!
 
Cool, I have a couple international’s right now. They are really pleasant to shoot with a williams peep and aperture front sight.

OP you made me feel better when you say you have had dozens of them over the years. I currently have 4 in different configurations and I am considering another for some reason.
