Loosen the front band screw (don't let it come off the threads) and also the magazine cap screw so the tip is barely inside the barrel. You might want to remove the spring and follower from inside the magazine in case the magazine cap flies off.
Put the rifle down on a hard surface and press down HARD on the rear band screw while you turn it. It will grab the threads if you compress the band a little bit. Then you can snug up the front band screw, then finally the magazine cap (don't forget the spring and follower).

As suggested, you should check for wear on the pins and replace if necessary.
