Interesting that Weatherby got a 17HMR version to actually work and Rem & Ruger couldn't, have to wait and see if the 17 actually makes it to market. Wonder if Ruger is building it for them or just licencing some of the patents ?

It sounds to me like it's designed to work with ruger 10/22 parts/accessories

My first thoughts, exactly, BUT....the description also mentions how its mags are custom-fitted...a red herring?

Ask the guys that spent the bucks on Volquartzen parts, or any of the aftermarket clone recievers to build their stuff on. ??? Doesn't make that much sense to me, but it seems to be working...

Guys buy stuff for different reasons, eh?
