New Weatherby XXII Semi Auto

hmmm interesting.
according to the catalog; the "footprint'" of the Mark XXII SA is designed to accept a wide range of popular aftermarket accessories, including stocks, barrels, magazines and trigger guard assemblies.

It sounds to me like it's designed to work with ruger 10/22 parts/accessories:)

looks like they use the ruger 10/22 clip in it .

My first thoughts, exactly, BUT....the description also mentions how its mags are custom-fitted...a red herring?

A weatherby 10/22? It better be really good out of the box, cause why pay weatherby premium for a ruger?

Ask the guys that spent the bucks on Volquartzen parts, or any of the aftermarket clone recievers to build their stuff on. ??? Doesn't make that much sense to me, but it seems to be working...

Guys buy stuff for different reasons, eh?

Cheers
