I saw the video of that kill on "Live to Hunt" a couple of nights ago. Cody did not arrow this buck . The brother of his good friend did, with Cody and brother filming. He missed his first shot and they were able to get close enough for a second shot at 42 yards.

Yeah trust me that is not the deer we are talking about. Cody did in deed shoot a huge deer himself this fall.

I only hunt deer for the meat value, and prefer a doe for the table.
A young buck is equaly good. The older they get, the larger the antlers get and I know a smelly old buck when I see one.

Avoid those big antlers... they are no good for nothin except record books and you cant eat that, but only gloat maliciously in the score book that no one gives a rats ass about.

The genes are already in place. It makes little difference if you, or a wolf, or coyote ... or big assed truck kills it.

I have been told the buck was wounded by another hunter before Robbins shot it.

The deer wasn't wounded prior to him shooting it. This is also not the same deer that was shown on L2H but is definitely from the same gene pool. From what I was told the video on this deer will be somewhat controversial based on the shot placement.

i heard it was an elk and cody shot it with an air-soft. BUT, his friend's sister's bff shot a whitetail, however it was first run over several times by an unknown, yet up and coming, cameraman..
