Wolverine fixed problem in one day. nuff said. ;-D
why not if it is a factory defect in the end that was found to be the problem and you are within the time and km's of the factory warranty coverage? If you have a problem with your brand new car and take it to the dealer and tell them you worked on it and worked on it, taking this and that apart, they won't give you a warranty.
geez, judgmental much? I'm was in transit, will give details later when I'm ready, not at your convenience. So what was wrong with it? How was it fixed.
Nuff said with no details is rather selfish end for a thread that started asking for help.
well....here we go again.
Superlative, having received a new rifle noticed something odd. He came here for advice,as to wether or not this was an easy fix, perhaps something simple he could address himself.
Some folks suggested possible causes, which likely led superlative to believe it was best left to the OEM/Supplier. At his earliest possible time, he contacted said supplier and arranged a return. Said supplier stood behind their product 100%.
Both superlative and wolverine acted appropriately...to the rest of you so quick to "slam" the supplier....SHAME ON YOU
Now, to all

wolverine is by far the best firearms dealer and customer service in canada...

I'd like a reply from someone at Wolverine.
Ya think all 8 pages of this thread would have / could have been avoided by a simple call to the dealer.
I've dealt with Wolverine many times and you'd be hard pressed to find a dealer that provides better after the sale service than them.
Lets try to be reasonable, #### happens, think about the volume they sell, it would be impossible to go through every unit with a fine tooth comb. Even Factory QC misses the odd one.
That's the nature of the game. I guarantee Wolverine will make it right... the first step should be to bring it to their attention and give them the opportunity to do so!
My 2 cents.
Yes, it's known they do have good customer service. They don't work on Sunday night though, but they very well may browse the forums!!!
He simply posted asking for information about his rifle, on a Sunday night, while Wolverine was NOT OPEN. At that point he wasn't even totally aware it would be something that needed to be sent away to be fixed. That's exactly why he asked for some help/opinions here.
Isn't the purpose of this web forum to help each other out?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with posting a problem you have on Sunday or ANY day. It's not just a matter of getting the OP's problem fixed. It's a record of how this kind of thing is handle for people who might have this problem in the future, or have had it in the past. It's information sharing and that's the whole freaking point of a forum. For everyone saying, "shoulda just phoned", why do you even come on this forum? It's an open space to talk about relevant things and share information and experiences.
Yea he tried to put Wolverine on the spot asking for a reply Sunday night at 12:30.
Common sense would have been calling the store and asking them, not an Internet forum in the hope that one of them is online.
It was a dumb move
