New XCR-L from Wolverine - the barrel is not straight?

So what was wrong with it? How was it fixed.

Nuff said with no details is rather selfish end for a thread that started asking for help.

If you have a problem with your brand new car and take it to the dealer and tell them you worked on it and worked on it, taking this and that apart, they won't give you a warranty.
why not if it is a factory defect in the end that was found to be the problem and you are within the time and km's of the factory warranty coverage?

well....here we go again.
Superlative, having received a new rifle noticed something odd. He came here for advice,as to wether or not this was an easy fix, perhaps something simple he could address himself.
Some folks suggested possible causes, which likely led superlative to believe it was best left to the OEM/Supplier. At his earliest possible time, he contacted said supplier and arranged a return. Said supplier stood behind their product 100%.
Both superlative and wolverine acted appropriately...to the rest of you so quick to "slam" the supplier....SHAME ON YOU

Now, to all

Don't think anyone was slamming Wolverine, but I will agree with your sentiments and further note the black rifle crowd on CGN is by far the more virulent, belligerent, and argumentative group on the site unfortunately for reasons unknown. It is a tough crowd to please, and impressively, Wolverine's doing it.

Learn to say "details to follow", just as easy to type for lazy folks that only care for their own convenience.

Hope everyone remembers your selfish "at your convenience" attitude next time you ask for help instead of jumping in to help right away.
geez, judgmental much? I'm was in transit, will give details later when I'm ready, not at your convenience.

Jesus. Have a beer, he's travelling.

This is what I mean about our black rifle crowd, we talk to each other in a way nobody would face to face.

If OP had just listened to my original reply to his post under "black rifle section", this whole thread would had been unnecessary ;)

D-bag central. Can't stand the black rifle section either. Some people were obviously not hugged enough as kids, or had a pork chop tied around their neck and told to go play with the dog.

Buddy probaby wishes he never posted anything at all.....and that's NOT how it's supposed to be.

Ya think all 8 pages of this thread would have / could have been avoided by a simple call to the dealer.
I've dealt with Wolverine many times and you'd be hard pressed to find a dealer that provides better after the sale service than them.

Lets try to be reasonable, #### happens, think about the volume they sell, it would be impossible to go through every unit with a fine tooth comb. Even Factory QC misses the odd one.

That's the nature of the game. I guarantee Wolverine will make it right... the first step should be to bring it to their attention and give them the opportunity to do so!

My 2 cents.

Yes, it's known they do have good customer service. They don't work on Sunday night though, but they very well may browse the forums!!!
He simply posted asking for information about his rifle, on a Sunday night, while Wolverine was NOT OPEN. At that point he wasn't even totally aware it would be something that needed to be sent away to be fixed. That's exactly why he asked for some help/opinions here.
Isn't the purpose of this web forum to help each other out?

Yea he tried to put Wolverine on the spot asking for a reply Sunday night at 12:30.

Common sense would have been calling the store and asking them, not an Internet forum in the hope that one of them is online.

It was a dumb move

It seems to me that this 8 page thread would have only been 3 or 4 post if you took away the posts that were only meant to stir the pot by slagging the vendor or the OP. These threads would be a lot more efficient and meaningful if people cease submitting unsolicited opinions that have nothing to do with the original question. If you comment doesn't help or solve the issue, don't post it as you are a part of the problem. The forum has slowly transformed from a great bunch of members who were extremely accommodating and helpful to now being a majority of avatar tough guys who attempt to create problems while hiding behind the anonymity of the internet.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with posting a problem you have on Sunday or ANY day. It's not just a matter of getting the OP's problem fixed. It's a record of how this kind of thing is handle for people who might have this problem in the future, or have had it in the past. It's information sharing and that's the whole freaking point of a forum. For everyone saying, "shoulda just phoned", why do you even come on this forum? It's an open space to talk about relevant things and share information and experiences.

given my 9 plus purchases for these folks . I would say there is a 0 percent chance you will be screwed in the end .

Please update us to the likely positive outcome later.
