I'm 21, student from ontario. I'm considering getting my PAL license (i've read somewhere that RPAL and PAL are equal now or they got rid of one of them?)
Anyways, before i do any of this i have a few questions... I have a clean criminal record, but will me getting a firearm turn out to be a hassle at any point? i've heard people are subject to inspection at any time? Anybody have any inconveniences with owning a gun? If i am going on vacation or something do i just lock it in my house unattended or do i have to bring it with me? What if it gets stolen?
I am interested in owning a bunch of pistols (one i've always wanted to own was a desert eagle .50 ae) Is this type of gun even allowed to someone like me that has a RPAL/PAL license?
I'm willing to join a gun club and i mostly plan on using it for target shooting only. Anybody here have any negative experiences/hassles with owning a gun that wouldnt have occurred if u just didnt own a gun?
Thanks a lot,
regards,
