Picked up a Glock 20 last week, did some reloading over the weekend as I cannot buy 10mm anywhere locally.
The results were great. For lack of a better term, the recoil was 'smooth' and the Glock seemed to handle it well.
Specs below:
- 180gr JHP
- 8.5gr Hodgdon HS7 ( oldie but a goodie)
- Federal Magnum Primer
10 Yards (30 feet)
Not too bad for a first time?
I'm sure I will be able to tighten up my groups as I get used the the Glock.
I am really enjoying the 10mm round and have a lot of room to 'move-up' in charges.
Big Thanks goes out to Members: 'Billy The Kid' and 'Cerdan' who helped me get some components together.

) and have been getting advice off post from you guys and Camp Cook's load data on Glock Talk but I have to ask, who manufactures 800X and AA9 (I am just starting to figure out who makes what in the powder world and have been using longshot because of working on 45-08 loads from Gunnar). I might start to carry a G20 or a G29 for wilderness protection and want to work up a reliable hot load but the powder is a good place to start.
