I would like to ask a few questions regaurding Moose hunts on the island . Either with some one who actually hunts there or lives there .

There are a few around the west coast, not sure what’s out east or central.
Your other option may be , but not sure yet.
If you knew a hunter and he took you with him on his hunting trip.
I have a buddy who works for Fisheries and Land resources and he’s checking that out.

Unless you're in a higher population area. Here on the Avalon it's a bit tougher for the moose. I hunted 16 days this season, shot at one, no luck. Only seen 2 the entire time. Buddy of mine hunted around 35 days last year to get a moose in same area, his father in law took around 25-30 days this year to get a young bull in adjacent area. My advice stay off the Avalon peninsula. Go to the northern peninsula, you'll get a moose on your way from the airport to your hotel.
