What a pair of beauties........ :puke:

Not sure what make/model but it'll definitely be a 7mm-08. Want something light on recoil that my boy can hunt with and when he's not using it I can use it on whitetails. I'll reserve my '06 for bigger game.

I needed a new moose gun this year, didn't want to spend a lot of coin, found a weatherby vanguard series 1 at the local hardware store. Just started to site it in, haven't got an opinion yet, except it has a hair trigger, scary actually.

Been a while since I bought a complete factory rifle but I did order a kimber montana in 280Ackley. At just over 5 1/2 lbs I`m gonna see if it will make it`s way into part of my sheep hunting gear.

Off topic but, Heiner39 that sure is a nice muley in your pic there. Wow

I have a couple dozen unrestricteds, and just don't need anymoe guns, but that hasn't stopped me yet. I've slowed down a fair bit though, and am waiting for my first post registry purchase to arrive in the mail. It's a 1951 built Winchester model 94 in .32 Special. Kind of a nostalgia purchase from the EE, as my dad owned one when I was a kid. Looking forward to cleaning it up, reloading for it, trying it out at the range, etc., though it may not see many, if any, days in the field. If the right 99 Savage in .308 or .243 comes along at a good price, I'd really like to have it turned into a .260.

Was going to buy a nice moose rifle in the spring but just traded for a Mauser 96 in .30-06. Nothing fancy but a decent shooter. Next will be a better scope for it, maybe a zeiss conquest or leupold. Hoping to take down a swamp donkey with it the week after next.

I think my next rifle will be a SS Forbes 24B, probably in .280 Remington. Either that or I will put something together to suit my needs.

When I have money in the rifle fund again..... winchester model 54, marlin 36 or 1936 (not 336), something in 9.3x62; probably husqvarna. These are at the top of my list for now.......

For those who say they don`t "need" another rifle, i say need hasn`t got a damn thing to do with it. Pure unadulterated lust and desire is the main thing. I have a couple on the lust list, a 6.5/06 barrel for the Sako and a 223 semi auto for yotes.

I just bought the new CZ 550 in 7X57 from Clay at Prophet River. I probably won't hunt with it this year as my handloads and guns are all set up for my Savage 7X57 and my Tikka 7mm mag but I am suer look forward to shooting this gun. It is awesome.
