I know several old cops who remember the time that if things got ugly they went home and retrieved their own duck guns.

I took my own ar15 to a call once. Many guys had their own at home ready to go before we were issued the carbines widespread.

That was a time when there was a lot more violent crime than we have now... yet today they’re not happy unless every officer has military grade weaponry in the car.

I was stopped north of North Bay when the OPP were looking for a prison escapee in the '70's.

Either the officer had his own deer rifle, or the tactical rifle of that era was a Win. 94.

Well when it comes to this current government and firearms I’m of the mind that we better oppose whatever they are trying to ban even if we don’t own or shoot said firearm as they will probably come after all firearms .
