My brother-in-law was fortunate enough to spot this bull and took it from 250yds, 300WM, 180gr Partitions. 56" spread.

I chose to take a more tender one...:D

290yds, 50km/hr winds, rain, and a Sako .308 win with 165gr Interbonds.

That first one is a really nice moose! I love the dark color of the antlers. I think I would rather have yours in the freezer though, he will be pretty good eating. Congrats!

Congratulations. It looks like you had an excellent trip:D. Good to see that .308 worked out nicely for you. If you have enough moose maybe you could share a piece;).

I start to love my Spanish Calvary rifle in 308. I thought it was too short barrel(17.5") and less powerful. Seeing op took this moose at 290yd and Danny boy took his at 500 yds, I have every reason to keep mine.

I'll be sure to save you some off that big bull...:D

Mine has a 20" barrel, and at 7lbs scoped, is a joy to carry.

Wooooh hoooo! Atleast Someones having luck. Yours has quite the interesting light patches of hair

In the pics it looks greyish, but its actually tan colored.

Nice meese! Glad you had a good trip. How'd you like tramping around the back country of the Rock? :)

Compared to ON, its a challenge for sure, but that's why I like it...:D

Congrats! Two great animals for sure. I'll be heading to MMA 2 for mine in a couple of weeks. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

^ Where are those pics from... Ontario?

West coast NFLD, lots of hills and lots of water. Not big hills compared to the rockies, but its a lot more climbing than anything in ON. We only had one day that it didn't rain all day, but still rained part of the day. The rain doesn't bother me at all, and I shot my moose in the rain, but the damned winds were annoying.
