Yup he does good work as I mentioned the best I have ever seen and if its not to your liking he'll do it again without issue. He's a real decent guy. Love if everyone could spread the word for him.

Thanks for starting and growing this thread MRCLARK. Despite my having been looking for exactly these services (in Canada) I didn't see this thread - for whatever reason - until today.

Thanks again.

If this fella had any idea of the market on CGN he would join up for sure. Have you asked him yet MRCLARK?

No,but if its cheap enough I'll just pay it for him. Any clue how much it cost to be a contributor. As you can see in the posts I asked the mod.

Never got a responce. I'll pm greentips the Admin. Would be nice to get Nick some more bussiness.

I should get him to repark my Johnson.......

I always wonder about turnaround time. Too bad he doesn't have a website, its nice to see what work he can do to plan expenditures. Is he a general gunsmith or a parker, bluer smith?

He's a licensed gunsmith but specialises in restoration work. Something he does for fun on the side. He owns a body shop and does that for his main income I assume and this is something he does for fun. He has a full shop set up for the smith work as well. (must be nice my shop is my kitchen table)

Give him a call or email him see what he has to say. I was so blown away by the work he did for me and how decent a person he was I took it upon myself to try to get some work for him.

his number is 519 723 4009

the dealer membership as its most basic is a few hundred a year.
i got lots of stuft that needs to be parked next year as we are going to be making alot of stuff, mag tubes and other items i cant talk about just yet.
get him to join, or you could and act as his agent.
Ill have work for him right away.

I pm'd greentips and he mentioned it was about $800 I think that was for ad space I'll speak to him again.

I spoke to Nick this week about joining. He really does great work! I think he is seriously considering joining and may even get going on his own website as well.

Here is a shot of my latest project just back from Nick. DLask frame/Norinco top end/Nowlin internals. It was sent to Nick with a very cheesy paint job. he stripped it detailed it and parked it in his signature "aged GI green"

He also did a Ithaca USGI basket case for me. He spent weeks correcting the issues with the unit then reparked it in the same green. More pics to follow.

that looks pretty sharp, I've been pondering getting a cheap norinco and sending it to nick to park for me. How do they shoot stock?

Some Posters pic's not showing or removed? Very interesting thread and very nice work. What are you guys paying for these jobs?

re: Parkerizing

I had two Savage 99 lever actions done by Nick last summer. I posted the pics on a lever action thread that was active at the time. I want to echo the positive comments previously posted by "Mr.Clark". I am very pleased with the work Nick did and the turn around time was quite reasonable. Because I had two rifles done at the same time he cut me some slack! I am working on another "project" this winter and when ready, I will be calling Nick again! Regards, MC

Can you find the pics and post them or the thread again, I'd love to see them.

What did you pay for your park work.

park'd savage 99's

OK MRCLARK;

Here are the latest pics of the Savage 99's that I had Park'd last summer. I'm not totally certain of Nick's pricing policy, but because I had the two rifles done at the same time, I got both done for $300.00.
