Might be on the horizon shortly.

From a post By Swiss Products:

"Its looking very good so far. The prototype is being swapped around between a number of rifles to make sure its universal for those types.
Dad will be firing 15 to 20 rounds from each rifle, but its probably a waste of ammunition. The mount is solid with no flex at all. He tried to flex it
but the steel and hookups are so solid that it looks like this one is passing the stress test.
There were a lot of approaches and ideas over the past 5 years (probably more), but this one looks like the final prototype. There will be a
patent applied for as soon as the field tests are finished."

I just did.

They can be very accurate if barrel is in decent condition.
I held off until I could do justice to the rifle.
Issue iron sights with middle age (or later) eyes sucks big time.

Both are very accurate, but if both barrels are in the same condition, the K31 will edge it out by a hair just due to the shorter throat. IMHO.

Post on relative accuracy of the K31 vs 96/11 and M1911 models.

Interesting test and and a nice machine rest. Could be a combo of shorter barrel, forward locking lugs and shorter throat which help tightened the group, but only just slightly as you say.

At least we know the Swiss straight-pulls are capable of 10 ring accuracy @ 300m.
How many other milsurps can do that?

Ten ring accuracy of 10cm at 300m, just under 4 inches at 330yds, with service ammo. Sometimes better with match loads.

Swiss shooters generally believe the K31 is capable of an of 98/100pts at 300m under prone match conditions with a top shooter, read: not in a vice or bench rested.

Here a posting from the people who make the Swiss products line:

VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

Our orders from Brownells have tripled and doubled from Graf's. We were caught by surprise with that volume of orders all at once so we're humping to get the pipeline refilled with regular inventory, so we're probably 3 weeks out on the 1911/k11 mounts, or sooner if I can push it. It was a bad time for the zfk55 mounts to come to their inventory end too, and we have orders for 3 right now. We're going to have to make 50 of them anyway to justify the run.
There are 4 product runs ahead of the 1911 mounts, but it looks like they're going to be speeded up a bit. Dad and his partner decided to laser cut the pillars, so that will move it a little faster. I'll post here first as soon as I have a projection.

I've order a few for the Canadian market and will show it to Tradeex to see if they might be interested in carrying a few in stock. I need at least two as it is.

I will be getting a dealer sample plus 3 others for now but note that they still haven't costed it out yet. No idea what final price will be just yet but will be more than the K31 mounts, but cheaper than the zfk31/55 mounts.,

If anyone is interested, let me know so I can increase the order.

I would be interested in a set for M1911 but I would have to find some kind of container/soft bag to carry rifle to the range.
It is so long ,even 55inch soft bag barely closes with rifle inside.

I have a two gun Bushmaster cheap plastic hardcae case my 96/11 just fits into, diagonally.

Still room for a regular rifle too

That will only work on the K31. It clamps onto the thumb cutout on the right side of the K31 receiver , which is the same diameter through out it's receiver length.

There is no equivalent area on the M96/11, M1911 and K11 receivers, which are also dimensionally different from the K31.

The new mounts use the existing action screws to attach itself to the rifle.
No pictures of that area available yet. (patented pending....)

BTW, they are also planning to have diopters that will attach to the new mounts. That will take more time to work out sight height and offsets needed. Muzzle brakes too.

Any updates on this new setup?

They should be shipping out the pre-production test samples to the dealers this Monday-Tuesday (Snail mail) for us to test on as many different 96/11, 1911 and K11s as possible for fit variances. I'll be testing for accuracy too as soon as I can. Usually takes two weeks to arrive

If none of us come up with a fitting problem, then production will have the go ahead and we will be looking at a minimum 6-8 weeks before any will be available for sale anywhere in the world.

Got mine given to me by another CGNer that shoots at one of my clubs.
