Actually, Sherlock, I'm NOT singling out Canadammo. I was making a comment about customer service in general, plain and simple. I have no idea what actually happened, and quite frankly, I dont care. Would I air my complaints of a few unanswered emails here? No. Phones work pretty good. My point was, if you get poor customer service, from whoever, move on and spend your money elsewhere.

I don't have an issue with making a complaint when it's justified. I do have an issue with the way that fatbastard handled this one.

Yeah - suck it up and act like a man. Make an effort to fix the problem or move on, like you said. Email gets delayed or mislaid for lots of reasons. The OP did not try to fix his problem or to move on. Do you really think it was an appropriate, adult, and effective method of problem solving?? Really?
 
When someone posts crap like this about a highly touted and accepted dealer is pisses me off public forum or not. It is business's like Canada Ammo and MArstar that get these guns into Canada for all of us. If I don't get a reply a couple times all I do is call and done deal. Now when you email, call, fax and teletype and there is no answer please post up!!!!!!!!

Using the public Forum excuse is weak as well. Well since this is a public forum I should read a couple of posts of yours that I don't like and then follow you around posting crap about you and slandering you then. Hmmm you may take it personally after a while right??

I found the staff at Canadaammo quite fine to deal with. Cheers to them and all the other reputable dealers out there.
 
I have yet to buy anything from these guys but they have answered every dumb question I have asked with 36 hours via email.

I don't disagree, personally, that this is the wrong way to voice what appears to be a rather baseless complain/accusation. What I am saying is that regardless of how much it pisses you off personally it's going to happen (3 to 5 times a week apparently). The reason that I read and watch these threads is to see how the business reacts. I've seen a number of times where the situation was resolved in a very timely manner and the business came off smelling of roses and the customer was happy, that proves to me that they deserve to have my business.

If you feel that you need to go and read my previous posts and harass me online that's fine, I'll feel sorry for you, but then I'll probably grab may range bag and go shoot some stuff, forgetting all about you and the blue glare that fuels your hatred.

As far as the internet procreation... I'm really not sure where you were going with that, but I promise that I will stop messaging girls so that you have a slightly better chance.
 
Had a guy call me the other day saying he'd sent me 4 emails and I hadn't responded... went looking for them...
Between My ISP's spam filter, my spam filter and blacklist and the interweb itself things can end up in unexpected places..

Unless you have read receipts turned on you can't be sure that the email actually reached it's destination and was read..
 
Just a quick thought and suggestion for other businesses. I don't give out my business's email address to the public, only to existing customers. I get too many useless inquiries from customers ie "What's your price to do my house???" "Do you give free quotes???". So instead I encourage them to pick up the phone first. Then, once a relation is established I send them quotes via email.

I can understand why emails don't get responded to. Businesses that don't have the staff, or can not take the time to answer every email should only provide email address to phone-in customers. Even if fatbastard were not serious with his emails, it is quite certain that he will remember this company and never become a customer of theirs.
 
canada ammo answered my email quick-fast no issues. more than i can say about other companies in the Canadian firearms buisness

CanadaAmmo answers me back every time I send them an email. Maybe they have some kind of BS filter on the inbox and I ask valid questions.

I would buy something today, just because of this, but I am currently rebuilding an engine (and paying for it), and I got a new gun a few days ago...

But I would !!! haha.
 
It is also helpful to watch what the post count and trader rating of the people complaining is. I find a direct correlation,,,,,,,not just a "coinkydink"???


As far as the pro creation comment, there are more and better ways to communicate then an intangeable email. Try a phone, or even face to face conversation. Without a read receipt how are you to make sure the emails are recieved. Or even recieved by the intended recipient?

Yet another aim less topic with little to no factual basis. Its shameful what I see as a trend being allowed on this board.

Joking aside - Are you SURE you used the right email address?

If so, then it's possible for some reason your email (or provider) is getting caught in a spam filter.

I've sent several emails to these guys, usually get a reply within hours. Or faster. Unless you're sending them pic's of the bikini tan line you got on holiday, if they're not responding then chances are they're not getting the email for some reason. Try a different communications method.
