These threads are the best.

You can try:

Have you tried Skype?
I've always had luck reaching CanAm through Skype.

There are many ways to skin this cat.:D

My but we're all impatient aren't we??? Try this - write an old-fashioned letter and send by snail mail. Wait for an answer. Send your reply/order back the same way. Appreciate email more.:D

Cut the man some slack - answering an email or 3 may take a few days, he has a business to run after all...

He sent THREE emails and didn't get a reply. OMG! People shouldn't have to put up with this kind of abuse - let's start a petition or a protest or something ghey!

Maybe we can start one of them 10-step support groups, like whine-aholics anonymous? :p "Hello, my name is Wussy and I am a whiner."

Seriously buddy, just call them. Email gets answered when time permits, the phone gets a faster response when they're busy. We don't have a big enough firearms industry in Canada that we can afford to alienate each other just because you didn't get a respponse to an email. Suck it up a little bit, act like a man. ;)

If I get them, I reply.

my email is info at CanadaAmmo.com (link below)

Three emails with no reply would indicate some sort of technical issue with the email.

Email is not prefect, I don't always get them. That is why I have skype, phone and fax.

See, this is the problem. I'm not singling out canadaammo here, but poor customer service in general happens all the time, and what do we do? We take it, and say "suck it up". Well, to me thats unacceptable. If you get poor service, move on and spend your money elsewhere, plain and simple.

He sent THREE emails and didn't get a reply. OMG - that is just the saddest thing I've ever seen! I just feel sooooooo badly for the poor liddo guy! People shouldn;t have to put up with this kind of abuse - let's start a petition or a protest or something ghey!

Working on the customer service side you would see it a bit different. If I had a dime for every time someone said "I sent a bunch of e-mails, or called many times etc" and were totally full of it I would be rich ;)

Actually you are singling out Canada Ammo when you put your whine on this particular forum, Sherlock.

I don't have an issue with making a complaint when it's justified. I do have an issue with the way that fatbastard handled this one.

Yeah - suck it up and act like a man. Make an effort to fix the problem or move on, like you said. Email gets delayed or mislaid for lots of reasons. The OP did not try to fix his problem or to move on. Do you really think it was an appropriate, adult, and effective method of problem solving?? Really?

While I certainly don't agree with the recent spat of calling out established businesses, I like to point out that this a public forum. Part of doing business on in a public, open, and relatively uncensored environment is dealing with disgruntled (legitimate or not) customers. It won't affect the way I spend my money unless the business starts to act in a similar, tit-for-tat fashion.

No, we say don't whine over not getting a response to 3 emails when there are other perfectly viable ways to reach out to a dealer.

Here's an example...

I hear where people are coming from. BUT.... 3 emails is too many to have not got a response. If you don't get a response after one, and are really actually serious about the question or product, take the next step, like phoning. OR.... asking the question in the forum here. You mentioned about 3 emails not getting answered, but your one post got an answer from him. Now if you had of asked the question here, he probably would have answered the question. I don't think not getting a response back to an email is worth not doing business with CanAm, they are decent fellows and have a bunch of nifty neeto products :).

I never rely on e-mail for any sort of business related transaction, you never know for sure if it will get through. For example my last name has "####" in it, and being a part of my e-mail address, regularly gets blocked by most email acounts. Either pick up the phone and leave a message if they are busy or fax them.

Email is unreliable to deal with almost any business due to useless junk mail filters and various other email problems. if you have a serious inquiry pick up the phone and if you can't do that you must not have had that serious of a question in the first place and shouldn't be #####ing about it in a public forum. In my experience with Canada ammo which has only been 1 order and soon to be a 2nd has been excellent even when they didn't have a item in stock that there website said they did they rectified the situation fast and to my benefit. that being said if you choose to never deal with can am again because you refuse to phone them that is your loss!!!

Just my .02 cents

I maintain over 10 email servers for various public corporations, private companies, political parties, non-profits, and other organizations. There are many potential explanations(all beyond Chris's control) for why Chris didn't respond to the 3 emails you sent him. Actually, there are so many possible scenarios that it is pointless to even start to cover the possibilities.

To assume that he received the emails but chose to ignore them is "jumping the gun". As a generally good piece of advice, if you can't reach someone via email, switch to the other options such as telephone, etc.

I am completely familiar with the level of frustration that you must have felt after not getting responses to your 3 emails. I've been in your shoes. But, to vent that frustration on the intended recipient of those emails without hearing his side of things or trying other methods of contacting him is really "bad form".
