NOE moulds.... How good are they.

Yeah. I hear you jet hunter. I prefer ladling. It seems to go way faster and I seem to get better looking boolits. My noe moulds should be here this week they had trouble with shipping company so a slight delay. At least it was nice to get a response back.

Ok I got the moulds in last Friday. I have been sick as a dog. But I made it outside to make a few hundred. All I can say is wow. Amazing moulds. I have seen the light!! Hahaha.
The 45 acp 230 gr hp

And the 375 gr 45-70 hp. now just to feel good enough to get to the range and test these out.

I put another order through already. :)

Told Ya! Well worth the price of admission, same with mihec and accurate molds, though I haven't tried them yet.

Well said that is exactly what I do to keep the rhythm going. I always cast with two or three molds.

That way production is steady and I'm not standing around waiting for the sprule to cool.

What a cavity for a hollow point.

that's a cavity, but this is a grand canyon!

I've cast a couple of thousand from my NOE 7,5 Swiss mould and the alignment pins are still very tight. I find that the Lyman sprue plate screw is set too close to its corner and it eventually peens over so the plate is at a slight angle to the surface of the blocks. I've ground off the sprue plate stop pin and replaced it with a screw whose head holds the plate flat against the blocks. The new screw is held in place with a set screw.

I have at least 6 NOE molds - two of them I started a group buy on cast boolits and waited almost a year for them.
Swede Nelson has to have a run of 35 sold to get them into the que.

He will also supply the mold with at least 1 cavity hollow pointed.

I have the 311466 and a 314466 , also a 130 grain loverin in 311 from them - great molds.
