The MR1 was closer to the Mini-14 than the XCR.

The Mini 14 I personally don't see as a "Black" gun. It only has a rep due to the lefties.

I see it more as a sporter/varmit style rifle.

None the less, it would be my pick.

Don't like the Keltec.
And the only thing the Mini 14 has going for it,
is that it's the "bad boy" of Canadian rifles.

I like the mini 14/30. To bad larger 5/30 or even 5/20 mags are hard to come by.
