Non Restricted black rifles (sticky?)

Either way we're screwed, only a matter of time.

Then buy as much time as possible. Make them work for it. If this miss one or two we can take that time to buy as much as we can so we can grandfather them. If someone wants one they can ask instead of silently finding the answer. At least when they ask we can see who's asking and check out how they're asking. IIRC, there are several black rifle threads where forum members ask why they want a list.

They won't have much work to do if they simply declare all semi-autos to be banned, which the left wing were calling for last election and a few times in between.

And the process that would entail that ban would be to provide evidence and proof such as a visual collective information of semi autos and their availability. Hence the whole thing about buying time by making information difficult to collect and process.

Yeah it's called the registry.

ACTION: SEMI-AUTO

Not too sure why they'd need visual information if they were to blanket ban.

*sigh* my point flew right over your head. By process I meant the step that one would have to take to get that ban. We live in a rather bureaucratic society and they need some form of substance for that ban. In other words, I'm talking about before that ban if it ever were to come to fruition. Buy as much time as possible by keeping antis in the dark. And when the ban comes, it can be challenged and hopefully wouldn't be a case based on appearances. Still don't understand where I'm going with this? Just show your original post to an anti or someone not to comfortable with guns. The ensuing argument will be mind numbing to say the least.

They have enough substance already to call for bans before and during elections. The Conservatives are not going to ban anything, and you can bet any money that if any other party gets in you will see semi-autos banned. For most people that vote left, they vote for other reasons than gun banning. Guns just don't matter to them.

That would be an embarrassing move.

I'm betting that as bad as compliance was for non-restricted registration, that confiscation attempts on the sheer volume of semi-autos will constitute political suicide.

You might think the amount of non-compliance cases is different, but if it really WAS different, we wouldn't have the ongoing saga of amnesties. They'd simply arrest and trample the one or two remaining hold outs and move on with politics.

I think compliance would be disappointingly high. Gun-owners are sheeple too.

I wonder. There are a great many more AR owners than there ever were UZI or AUG owners.

I've been wrong before, but I think that the one or two landmark refusals could trigger a landslide of non-compliance.

Way too many to confiscate. They'll just grandfather. They will only confiscate when they think they can get away with it. Say if there are a small number of guns in the country that nobody knows about.

There's where threads like this come in :D. Let no baby killer go unknown to the mall ninja!!

My sks is AK"ish" and non-restricted.

The original semi-auto AR-10 is also non-restricted. They are different than the current AR-10 and very rare.

If I had one of these in my hands, I could create a Solid Works model and optimize if for CNC fabrication...

Awesome. I'll add the reddish black CSA vz58, which is available in an NR 18.6(?) barrel length from both SFRC and Wanstalls. .223 and 7.62x39 calibers.
