Norc 1911 9mm, M14, CSA Compact, PPS50

Lickely not offered as an option, on this patch.
This character enhancing iron oxide finish,
must occur naturally.
No time for that, and still get them shipped out, "soon".:D

Buy American

All Talk... and not much walk.. There was huge hype at the beginning of this shipment of NP-29s but now three months later... ( 9 in stock... ohh... look 24 in stock..... now 3 in stock... oops 20 in stock...) and still no firm delivery date. Probably a great product but the hype has diminished it to what it is. Chinese - off shore - you get what you get - whenever you get it. I would suggest that the vendor not hype the product with such intensity in the future. I cancelled my order. Pre-Sale? Not exactly. More like Pre-Hype with a sometime in the future- soon... wait it has changed... sometime in October.... 2:1 odds that October doesn't pan out? Anyone?

I wouldn't spew such vitriol if what was advertised initially was reality... but it isn't. Pre-sale? Really?

That's what you get when you buy chinese S***T buy a freaken really 1911

I see some are craking under pressure. Admit there was lots of hype on these but PRE ORDER seems to be like this for other sellers also (correct me if im wrong) for example wasnt the Ruger 1911 pre order thread just braught back?!
I understand the frustration behind not getting a firm date or approximate week (i work in transport) but we dont have a choice and if he did have a date we would probably know.

Somebody mention it gave him time to pay other bills and i totally agree lol and probably prevented a few impulse buy knowing a 1911 was "on the way"

Thats how i see it

*edit*
30 seconds after my post i get the SFRC email saying there are in Canada next week!!!

Anyone who hasn't learned the art of patience when it comes to overseas firearms orders needs to spend a few more years as a customer.

Nothing new here... just par for the course.

I'm happy to get one, I'm grateful someone takes the time and trouble to make them available for us, must be alot of things he has no control over (production, shipping, legal, customs etc.)
The haters should go play in their own sandbox,... with a dictionary

+1, Anyone who understands what running an import business implies can appeciate the work done by companies likes SFRC, Especially when your talking controlled goods and all the added paperwork and red tape. The firearm industrie wouldn't be what it is in Canada without companies like these, my hats to annyone importing firearms to support the shooting industries.

Lets see if these guns actually show up next week. I've gotten emails from vendors before that have said next week, or next month, and that was 6 months ago.

A few people have asked what the pricing will be after the pre sale...ie once they get here. The price will be the same but I won't be offering free shipping.

On a side note, you would have been able to hold, just not dry fire.

I have now been in your store twice and have been told on both occasions that you will not take the trigger lock off for me to hold and purview the firearm.

Sadly this cost you $$$$$$$$$$$ as I just ordered both firearms elsewhere................just two of many more to come........................

I know and have met the owners at the IDPA Provincial Championships this year and both are pleasant............................

BUT HOW DOES ONE BUILD CUSTOMER REPOR, RESPECT, TRUST AND ULTIMATELY A RELATIONSHIP IF A CUSTOMER CANNOT EVEN INSPECT THAT WHICH THEY WISH TO PURCHASE..................................

SADLY I HAVE NOW DRIVEN ALL THE WAY FROM OTTAWA TWICE.........................WITH POOR RESULTS AT BEST............

Dry firing doesn't damage the guns. I have seen many people do it at gun shows and it really doesn't seem to be a problem. I don't do it and don't get off on it but to some people it's just very important.

You are right that dry firing doesn't damage guns but it can put marks on the inside of some leading crybabies to whine that they got sold a used gun. Most revolvers for example get marks on the cylinder where they turn and after a few customers voila! you have just got yourself a "used" gun. And yes I have actually been present for this particular whinefest at a store south of the border.

So...Ryan lets you see the gun, and hold the gun, but doesn't let you dry fire the gun...you then decide to order the gun from another company...which company would that be? Because if it is over the internet or phone order, I'm pretty damn sure you didn't get to even hold the gun.

Instead of whining on a dealers forum, why didn't you simply tell one of the staff members that it was of paramount importance to you to hold the gun without the trigger lock. When one of the staff members freed up, I am sure they would have done something to accomadate your request. Most stores have policies in regards to trigger locks, but will make exceptions for very serious customers, or customers that are regulars. You can't just show up once or twice and expect to be treated like a customer that comes in every other day and drops substancial amounts of money. You talk about trust and respect...it's a two way street...one mistake would be disastrous for SFRC. So, cut them some slack...
