Norc 1911 9mm, M14, CSA Compact, PPS50

Im curious to see what SFRC's cancel policy is.
And also if their warranty is same as the competition?

I have followed up with sales@theammosource with no reply yet.... they must be in the juice
I sent a cancel order months ago to that email address, and didn't think anything of it that i didn't hear back. Looks like I will be buying TWO of these firearms. It will be easy, however, to explain to my wife since I have an email trail.

I sent them an email with no reply, but the order status shows it was received, and my request followed through.
So might want to check your order status on the website, if you haven't.

Was jut checking the picture posted and it really looks similar to the 45 caliber "sport model" that marstar had for a while:

I'm kinda wondering if Norinco just didn't take their Sport model and changed a few things to make a new "sport Model" np-29...:D...So assuming it is the case, this would mean the following would posibly be the spec of the new np-29 that just arrived:

- Three dot sighting system
- Extended slide release
- Front slide serrations
- Ambidextrous safety
- Raised anti glare rib on slide
- Large beavertail grip safety
- Lite weight competition hammer
- Lightened target trigger
- Full length guide rod
- The finish is non-reflective satin blue.
- Extended mag release

I must say, if thats the case, I am pretty happy and really looking forward to receiving it...;)

Probably just changed the barrel and whatever else necessary for the 9mm conversion.

As long as it doesn't have the funky "square" trigger guard. I can live with the "coarse" slide grips and rather useless forward grips but the square "finger grip" trigger guard would have been subjected to coarse files, Dremels and other weapons of insane destruction.... :D

Wow contacted CFO and they still havent initiated the transfer... CC got charged friday, I spoke on the phone with them and everything shouldve been taken care of by Monday... i am starting to really regret this

Amazing, we all have been waiting how long for these and your freaking out about a couple of days?

I can't imagine how many of these Ryan has to process.

Keep up the good work Ryan, all the whinin will be turnin into whoopin soon enough, and the sookie babies will be asking for seconds.
Cheers
I'll take mine when my email rolls around.

Should I expect a phone call or any more communication from SFRC or the government or something?

This is my first restricted.

when you call CFO, what do you ask for? if there are and pending transfers for your name and lic #?

Just want to confirm these are shipping CP? and not courier since it is not ammo, etc

This is a BUSINESS->INDIVIDUAL transfer. No completion at your end is required.
If you've been given a CFC Transfer reference #, then you can call your provincial CFO and inquire as to whether this transfer has been approved or not. At this point, the retailer should be able to ship the firearm to you (depending if the carrier is licensed or not, a short term ATT may be required).

I ask them if a transfer was initiated to my name, basically if they see NP29 written anywhere in their system..!

I just noticed that the NP29 was charged for BUT not the extra mag... hopefully they all come together in a timely manner

yes I was under impression that this was the case, but MTLean suggested another method

I can relate to the buyer. While we may all advocate for patience, funds have already been exchanged and goods have already been paid for. It's natural to let off a little steam so that the transaction may be completed - this is the way of capitalism.

On another note, the buyer should call their provincial CFO and inquire if the transfer has been approved. At least when the transfer has been confirmed approved, there should be no other reason for delay but for the seller/retailer to ship the goods.
