i had one of the marstar np29's sent to armco to be de-norked and get the armco nork tunage. under 200 bucks.
I can't recall exactly what gets done, but please be sure that whatever gunnar does to it makes it run real nice and smooth and eat anything.
It doesn't look fancy, but it shoots reall reall nice.
I like this gun so much, I just had to get another one on preorder from sfrc!

I like the looks of both models although I do think forward slid serrations are bit useless. Maybe I just haven't shot enough to find out. Wouldn't it be better to put them closer to the ejection port to keep your fingers away from the muzzle?
I can't wait no matter what configuration they come in. Definitely need a set of walnut or rosewood double diamond grips and I'll decide on the sites after I shoot it. The extended slide stop might have to go and I'll need some more mags. A new set of springs.........and the list grows. I'm not too concerned about putting some cash into as it will be a great way to get familiar with the 1911 (Yes, it is my first!). Got the dies and press all warmed up in the back shed. Just need some powder.
Should I have bought two?Come on slow boat!
