My google-fu is broken.
Can someone offer a link to the paracord trigger job please?
Yeah, like I said above, I can't find the link to the thread anymore. Must be more than 3 years old.

Seriously?
It's only $275+tax and shipping.
That's about 50% of the cost of the complete rifle.
I'm not knocking the trigger, I have one and I love it but for a $600 rifle an ALG would be more logical.
The ALG ACT trigger is the best value on the market today.
If you don't like the pull weight just buy the JP Rifles trigger and hammer springs from Brownells and have at it.
As for your optic don't bother puttin on an NC Star.
For the same or a little more money you can get something much better.
Go looking in the optics forum for recommendations.
I have a Norc and a DA that each have this trigger. Trigger pull, for me anyway, is about firing the weapon. No relation to how pretty the finish is. So yes.....Seriously!
$230.00 if you look south.
My problem with Norinco and DA is not that they have a poor finish.
It is that they do not accept Milspec parts without screwing around with them.
I own both a Norc CQ-A and an M305 shorty and neither one is 100% compatible with USGI milspec parts.
My Stag, Noveske, and Springfield Armory rifles do on the other hand.
The specific issue with the CQ-A is that a Milspec safety selector will not freely move between safe and fire without modification.
I have tried 4 different ones and all have the same issue yet they work perfectly in my other rifles.
I am not the only person with this issue.
It may seem trivial to some but not to me
