Norc M4 #### thread <3. (Beware, Chicom guns ITT)

For a 10.5 you're better off running a dot than a scope. I can recommend the free float multi-piece rail from Midwest, excellent, solid, inexpensive, and you don't have to deal with pulling the FSB off, Wolverine is the source for these. As far as slings go - even with a 10.5, get a Vickers, they're like Franks Red Hot Sauce - "I use that s**t on everything". One Shot has them and everything you need to mount them.

Just received my Norc 10.5 last Friday and brought it out today.

180 rounds of Norinco .223/5.56 and all but one went bang. All of them extracted though, so I'm assuming no extractor spring upgrade needed for mine?

The one round that didn't go bang was a misfire. Went click, waited...pulled back the charging handle.

Seems good to me! No pics as its 100% completely stock

they work really quite well - people will tell you otherwise, but those are people who've never owned one.

enefgee,

Did you use the MI 2-piece handguard on your CQ-A? Was yours a 14.5 or a 10.5? Any issues? I just wanted to make usre it woudl fit before I decided to cut off the delta ring on my 14.5.

Thanks,

Scott

The rail was on a my 14.5 - no issues of any kind, just a little caution cutting the Delta ring assembly, follow the instructions, and you get

easy, solid and slick. - yes that's the Norc upper on an Armalite lower.

Slumming over in this forum today.

All stock, both of them.
The longer one is from a couple years ago and the shorty is from bout a year and a half ago.
Pictures here is from a while back.
I'm currently changing around the optics on them both.
The longer is sporting a longer optic for longer work with a 45' side rail with a back up red dot.
The shorty is set up for CQ with a big red dot and again with the back up on a 45' side mount and some back up fold down irons.

Thanks! Exactly the info I was looking for. I have e-mailed Wolverine but they are currently out of stock so I'll have to keep my eye open for one. And yes, I'll behave myself with the Dremel and cutoff wheel. :)

Was yours the G2 version?

Got a new camera lens so I took my toys out to test it out. Still haven't been able to grasp that artistic sense when it comes to photography.

because they are only looking at fit and finish cosmetics.

While most of us Norc fans are looking for substance and not just cosmetics.

All my norcs work just as good as the American or European brands and at a fraction of the cost. More bang for my buck. And a lot more cash for amoo......yuppie

Agreed! I used my Norc on saturday at the first Quebec Black Gun competition and it never missed a beat.

I really want one of these- only $2000 New Zealand.......probably overpriced compared to what y'all get them for but I really want an AR! Might have to sell my M305 or the wife will really go crazy. Again.
