5440fight, how many rounds have you put though the rifle with that NCstar reflex sight? Does it hold zero?
I used them for airsoft and paintball, dunno about putting one on a rifle.
I do have a couple still, I should try em out, me thinks it will be a waste of ammo tho.

They work fine,(I use one on a 7.62 x 39 rifle) but may require a locktight treatment. Specifically, internally there are two rings that hold the components together, disassemble and re-assemble with blue locktite (the stuff in the red tube) and your good to go. Realistically, you'd be surprised what will handle recoil once you apply locktite. I think the ncstar is as good as anything American made under $200, past that, the difference is obvious.
I wouldn't trust my life with it, but fine to plink. That's probably why I always leave usable iron sights!
Get a brand new crush-washer and index that flash hider properly.
It has to be with the solid piece at the very bottom (six o'clock).

Nah, mine's off a little too, and it's right, tight. I'll just pick up a couple different crush washers and see what lines up.
