Wow you paid full price for your ammo ? f:P:
My combo I got a deal on the pistol & the ammo Laugh2

Actually, one week before the combo came out I DID pay the full $330 plus tax for the ammo. And even THAT was a good deal. Certainly WOULD have bought the package if it was available at the time... but IF I sell the ammo for ONLY what a typical person could buy JUST the ammo for (and that would not be hard to do) I end up paying only $170 plus tax for the gun $178 taxes in). I have been selling the ammo for $20 a box to people in the area... sold a crate already for $400 total. Which means I ONLY have $125 in my 1911... and yes, thats taxes INCLUDED.

Unless someone is willing to sell the pistol for $170 on EE quoting $170 is a joke. Combo deal, look at the price on your invoice for pistol and ammo, discount is on package; Sad that Canadians can't do grade 5 mathf:P:Laugh2

Bad Taste for Canada Ammo
6 July 2013...Still no replacement grips ...
All I Have two Broken 1911's
With no Grips

I'll echo the sentiment of others. This has you so enraged with the pistols that you'll never want to shoot them without being reminded how bad CanadaAmmo is. I'll assist you in their destruction by taking them off your hands and rendering them useless (I might wear them out - or at least try to). Sending them to me will be cathartic and worth far more in the relief you get in never having to see them again that it will be worth the thousand buck loss... Please include the ammo - how else am I going to wear them out?

Huh... pretty sure the math is sound. After selling the ammo for ITS full price you literally only pay $170 for the gun. The ONLY time this doesnt make sense is for a person who NEVER intended or needed or wanted to buy the ammo at all (and im sure there are some). Some of us actually DID want the ammo and DID get the gun for only an additional $170. However, IF you sell the ammo for full price (which you should have no trouble doing) AND you sell the gun for $250 (which would be easy, ive sold two for that much) you STILL LITERALLY have only $178 in the gun so youll make about $75. There is no right, wrong or indifferent about it... thats what you paid. The ammo was on the site before this particular gun was... therefore the value of the gun must be based on the pre-existing value of the ammo.

if the gun was on the site FIRST (or any other site for that matter), and they ADDED the ammo for a package deal youd base the value of the ammo on the difference between the original price of the gun only and the total price of the package.

I was doing this kind of math in grade 3... by grade 5 I was doing the kind of math necessary to buy 3 package deals, sell 2 guns for $250 and 1000rnds of ammo for $400... when I am rid of the 2nd crate of 1000 rnds I will have sold $1300 in goods meaning MY pistol AND ammo package only cost ME $275... therefore, I got 1000rnds of ammo for $275 and a free 1911, or I got a package deal for $275... however you want to look at it, I still only have $275 in the gun and the ammo.

So these Norc's are worn out after 1000 rnds !
Dam I knew this deal was too good to be true .

The math is totally sound...can someone from BC help me to understand how it isn't? Are they selling .45acp for a nickel a pop over there or something? Even at $20 for a box of 50 in .45acp is a hell of a deal comparably speaking. Then one must consider a pistol for $170, new, 1911...in .45!!! Please find me 1 recent deal that even comes close.

Epic Fail on the math in this thread.

For all those that insist the pistol is $170 please post it on EE for that price and I'll EMT the funds right away. It is that simple.

It is only a $170 pistol when one can buy one at that price; don't recall seeing any on EE under $250. When included with the combo there is cost in time and effort to sell the ammo, that part is NOT free. BAD MATH, BAD ECONOMIC, you folks with the $170 valuation better NEVER go into business.

I bought one for 170 bucks. Let's do the math together. Combo deal for pistol and ammo is $499
$499-$329 worth of ammo, equals $170 left over for the pistol. I don't know if you're familiar with the prices on E.E.,
but people aren't on there to sell their stuff to break even.
You're not going to get a brand new product that retails for $329, for $170. That's not a realistic price.
Especially on E.E., $250, on the other hand, is a bargain. For both the buyer and the seller.
Or to put it another way, "Buy one item, get the second one free", common advertizing gimmick.
You don't really get one for free, you get two for half price each.
Economics 101. Glad I could clear that up for you.:)

Not sound. Your selling your stuff at a mark up. So you made money. That doesn't change what you paid for it.

Just because you were able to purchase it for "170$" does not mean that is what the gun is worth. The gun is worth what the market will Baer which is somewhere around 250 or more. Meaning you could, in theory, sell the ammo at 329 and the gun at 250. It is not a $170 gun, it is worth more than that. We simply purchased it with a deal while on sale.

Uh, sorry,...What!?

Guys, is it just me or...?

'K, I'll play. Why on earth would anyone else play your ridicules game and sell to you at a break even point!? For someone who touts business savvy, this move is counter intuitive no!? To simplify for your benefit, "Are we family, that I would give you such favorable terms!?".

Burnaby, how much does 1000rds of Norinco .45 go for in BC? When you have that figure, subtract that amount (lets call it "X") from the Can Am special ({$500+taxes and shipping=$525} Lets call that "Y") and the remainder(if I haven't lost you, would be "Z") is what I PAID for a brand new 1911, not what it is worth.

So, we'll find in my case X-Y=Z($170.00), and no, I will not sell it to you at that price...pound salt.

No one EVER said $170 was what the gun was WORTH... you guys completely missed what has been said all along... in fact, if you want to talk grade 5... you didnt just miss what was said, you got it completely backwards.

Yes, everyone who bought this combo DID pay $170 for the gun. Doesnt matter if you get the math or not, that IS what you paid. HOWEVER, the gun is WORTH FAR MORE THAN $170. It is for THIS reason the whole package is such a good deal.

Infact, it is the difference between what you pay and what the items in a package deal are worth that make buying a package deal worth while in the first place. This is the ONLY reason people buy package deals. The difference between what you PAID (Which is $170... its a fact... argue all you want, you just look silly) and what its worth ($250 minimum... but ive seen them sell for as much as $290) IS the deal.

Like plinker said... NO you cant have mine for $170. Because its worth more than that and im AM smart enough to buy great deals like this and too smart to loose a dime if I buy a package deal with the intention to make a few $$'s
