tomorrow I will ,, but only pics caming out of the box,, I wonder how well they look???
after that; the plan is to completely reblue the one so it looks much nicer, the grips will be standard wood checkered (but maybe paint to gold, did that to my tokarev grips ;they look amazing,,the picture does not look as good as it really is)by the way the tokarev is getting satin nickel platted as we speak so once I get it next week ill decide on my 2nd 1911
the second 1911 is getting satin nickel chromed ,,pretty sure; but just the frame +slide , the catch ,safety,etc will be reblued or maybe gold platted paint ,will see along with this grips
should be good projects ,, ill keep me busy for a while , ill post pics tomorrow anyway out of the box to see what they look like
in another note ; I was looking for 1911 mags in marstar I ended up getting this combo $775 for both (happy camper) Lol!!! anybody have any reviews on this 2 pistols ???
I got the chromed Zigana C-45 , But the black one picture is better

Tested the gun out yesterday with about 200-250 rounds. I used the mags that came with it and two Chip McCormick mags. I shot my 230gr reloads, Winchester factory 230gr and the Norinco ammo. Surprisingly not one failure and my Chip mags locked back.
Just an update. I have shot just over 700 rounds without a stoppage now. As much as people knock Norinco this is a tank. I even tried to get it to jam.

Called the BC CFO this morning and spoke to a pleasant young lady and she approved my transfer on the spot. I don't know which I'm looking forward to. Receiving my new HG or the adventure of smithing it up to my tastes.
No use trying to educate you any further, by your shoe comment you obviously need help with a keyboard. Hopefully you NEVER get into business, should never have dropped out of school.

In BC, who do you call to speed up the transfer? The 1800 gun, or the BC CFO?
My only complaint is that they have to apply taxes to the thing.
Did you hear about the kid in the pharmacy buying his first ever packet of condoms? He checked around to make sure nobody was watching except a male clerk, put down his $4.50 for the price on the package. The clerk rang it in and said "That's $4.85 please". the kid asked "What's the extra thirty-five cents for?" The clerk replied "Tax". The kid really cringed - and said... "Tacks? Don't they stay on by themselves?"

My son ordered his a week after I ordered mine. A week after he go his my transfer still hadn't been done, this was at the 4 week mark from initiation of transfer, so I phoned the BC CFO last Thursday and they had the transfer done that afternoon. It arrived today. No scratches, no broken grips, no burs. Trigger pull is about 6 lbs so I'll take it apart and polish whatever I can polish and fiddle with the mainspring a bit.

Ordered May 7 and they attempted delivery today... Of course I was at work as I had no advance notice of shipping. Called and resched for Friday when I will be home. Only two months? Thanks bureaucracy!!!
