Dismantle it completely, get a very fine ceramic stone, and polish the back of the trigger where the sear/disconnector engage, polish any rough spots off the top and bottom edges of the trigger bow (be gentle - it should slide in there but not slop around) and polish lightly the sides of the trigger bow. If you have a small, fine "arkansas hard" stone that will fit in the slot for the trigger bow, give that a bit of a rub. Clean thoroughly. reassemble. For more, see if you can find Kuhnhausen's books on the 45 ACP.
Haha, I think most of us probably won't have an arkansas hard stone, let alone a patch of 120 grit sand paper, some S.O.S. pads and maybe some Scotchbrite, but thanks for the tip nonetheless. I'll try polishing the trigger bow as you said, but I don't have a clue how I'm going to getinto the trigger channel. I found this on another forum:
A buddy from another board guided me thru this and it worked out great. Just want to share.
1. Strip the frame completely
2. Polish the trigger bow with #400 + # 600 sandpaper until it`s slick as a mirror. ( I also used my Dremel with a felt tip and some jeweller`s rouge.)
3. Polish the trigger channel, sear, disconnector, hammer and pins. Do not mess around with the engagement angle of sear and hammer, as this might compromise the function.
4. Cut 2 coils off the mainspring, this will reduce the tension on the hammer and take some pull of the trigger. Do not cut more than 3 coils.
5. Bend the 3 prong leaf spring inwards, until it has a slight bow. This will reduce the pull on the sear and disconnect (1st and 2nd prong), the 3rd prong is for the grip safety (you might need to adjust this until it`s comfortable for you).
Note: If you don`t want to do this, you can keep the original spring and order a Cylinder&Slide pull reduction spring from Midwayusa (Item # 188 154 for mere $ 6.19)
You`ll notice that you won`t be able to install the bent spring with nothing but the mainspring housing removed, you gotta pull the thumb safety and the grip safety first, install the spring and re install the safeties.
This worked wonders on my SW1911 and reduced the trigger pull from 7lb to a sweet, crisp 2 1/2 lb pull with 1/16" pre travel and no over-travel at all (can be adjusted w. the small allen screw inside the trigger)
I`ve installed an STI trigger from Midway, but only because it looks cool ...basically this is a zero-budget trigger job.
Oh, yes...just to be on the safe side...if you test-fire your gun, load 2, then 3 rds at a time, just to be sure it won`t double-fire.

I took my Norc to the range last night and shot it for the first time:

I'm a crap shot to begin with, and it really shows from my target sheets (about 10 meters away). The right target was the first 7 rounds out of my Norc, the left target looks marginally better I suppose. It didn't take long to get used to the Norc and my groupings got better througout the evening, but I didn't take any pictures (yes, I know, no pics -no proof of better groupings). I just wanted to enjoy the rest of the night and play with my new toy
The only issue I had performance-wise was the magazines. They are crap. One fed okay, but the other one misfed every time I loaded up with 7 rounds. The one magaize was happy with 6 rounds, but would consistently ftf with 7 rounds:

Overall though, I'm really happy with my Norc, and I'm glad finally caved and jumped on the deal. The pistol itself came in excellent fit and finish, even the ugly grips weren't broken, just the mags. I was thinking about contacting Canada Ammo about it, but then again, I only paid $499 for a 1911 pistol and 1,000 rounds of ammo. The gun functions flawlessly with my Wilson Combat mags, so I'll just buy a few more of those, or maybe a set of Kimber ones, anyone try those before?

Anyway, I like it so much, I'm considering getting another one, just to leave it stock and shoot as is. I'll use my current one to practice my backyard gunsmithing, haha!
