I had crap luck with a Norc 1911A1C. Out of the box from a local retailer, the leaf spring was not functioning as if it was squashed.. This lead to the grip safety not functioning at all and the trigger able to be pulled with no grip of the gun. I replaced it with a new spring from Nighthawk. Problem solved. The adjustable sight was crap and would not hold position at first. I had to use a bunch of loctite to get it to hold steady and not rock loose with recoil. Still want to replace the sight with a fixed unit eventually.
I'm still keeping the gun. I've been changing parts here and there when I find them and working towards making it a decently reliable and decently accurate gun. The one thing I will say is that it has always gone bang without issue. Tons of Norc .45ACP and Blazer Brass through it so far without any hiccups.
When I took the pic, the scales/grips weren't on correctly. They've been sorted since the pics.
