Since I am never at home during working days, Canpar holded my 1911 combo for pick-up at their warehouse and everything went smoothly. I just called them when i got my tracking number and went there on my way to the range.

X2 this is a good option if you buy lots they will even have a guy help load into your truck for you..

i'm jealous, I wish I had funds to order more then the 1 I did order, makes my order seem so miniscule haha. good for you though!

This ammo seems to pop out spent primers, had a couple rifles jam up because there was a spent primer caught in the trigger group and had a AR-15 jam when a primer got stuck in the locking lugs .. Otherwise the ammo is pretty accurate.. Would NEVER trust my life to this stuff or would not even run a course with it , twice now it shut down my rifle and could not fix it till i got home and stripped the whole thing down and find the little primer mashed up and stuck in the action ..

When my ammo was dropped off the courier knew it was ammo. Started an awkward chat about it too.

Likewise. Not a fan of that, but what can you do?

At least I got some good intel on possible "survival game" in my suburban neighbourhood. The Canpar guy told me wild turkeys like to run around the hydro field behind my house. I've seen deer, coyote (eww) and rabbit. Never turkey. This close to Pearson too. Some good info in exchange for some info on what I like to import? I'll take that trade.

uhhhg CanAm! 6000 rounds on there way! My wallet is unimpressed! It took only 1.5 days to show shipped status and have my tracking number... Well done!

I hope mine ships that quickly, Ordered on Wednesday, payment extracted yesterday.

Have a good weekend everyone

Eeeeew, that does not sound good. I was looking at this for long term storage given the spam can packaging. Maybe I'll change my mind and shoot it up, reload a time or two and store the second reload instead, lol. This site is so good for up to date info on various things going on, keep posting boys and girls, lol.

edit: someone claimed the boxed ammo was the same (EXACT???) as in the spam cans. Maybe I should get a few boxes of this ammo with the same date on it (or a couple hundred cartridges from someone else's spam can) to put through my rifle to see if I have any issues. If no issues, then I guess I could stick with my original plan. Hmmm......
