What it it was 5 cases and a loss of $250??? Would you be happy about it? I think not.

And $50 does mean a lot, thats exactly what I mean. A place should be damn sure before they speak for another companies stock, I mean, I was pretty close to just paying the extra $50 and being done with it, but I mean, it's money and it's not growing on trees last I checked, so I am glad I checked with the other place.

Don't forget, you are talking about $50 on a 1600 rounds.... not 1000.

Remember not to long ago it was $500+ for a 1000 rounds

Not long at all, I remember paying near .48c per round about May 2011

AE was plentiful and about .40c a round most of last year, now it's tough to find

This Norc is about .28c per round right now, thats the best I've ever seen in Canada for .223, and tough to beat. I wish I could buy more, I doubt we'll ever see it this cheap again. I don't even think you can get ammo in the USA for this cheap, not even steel cased from Wolf or Brown Bear.
 
I was taking to a guy from the US a few weeks ago they pay about the same as we do for the AE 55 gr in the 1000 round cases . there is some pmc ammo around as well but i think it is of limited supply. I have found it to be the best of the bulk ammo i have tried

You should check the prices listed online in the US right now man. They have skyrocketed since the Gun issues erupted in the US

A little more than a few weeks ago this wouldn't have been an issue as prices south of the border were very similar. Not now though.

A quick scan of American websites has bulk .223 going for insane prices. Anywhere listing it for a reasonable price is completely out of stock. Anyone who has stock, is listing it at greatly inflated prices.

I understand that things have gone out of control down south . i was just making the point that the prices down south were similar to ours before the craziness started . It is next to impossible to even get projectiles let alone ammo down south . it wont take long before the shortage will be really felt in canada
