Mine showed up today. Not half bad...bluing is okay, some scratches on the slide and receiver, but I bought it as a beater, so don't really care. Functionality seems okay...haven't shot it or loaded it, though. Only trouble is that the front sight bead is about 1/8" to the left of center! Guess I will have to install some type of different sight.

AND! for those concerned about pot metal receivers? NOT THE CASE! Mine is machined steel, and is VERY beefy. If I have to drill and tap for a rear ghost ring or a picatinny rail, there is LOTS of meat to hold the screws.

All in all, for $100, it will do nicely!

Thanks again for the deal, Chemist!

Hey...

Me again...Just had a closer look at the gun...the sight bead isn't the only thing that wonky! THE WHOLE BARREL IS INSTALLED CROOKED! Wow! The poor kid that built this gun must have been tired...or blind!

Don't know how I'm gonna fix that...I don't think that even an adjustable rear sight has that much windage adjustment!

So, if any of you guys got a bad gun from an internal parts prespective, drop me a PM, I may have a good parts gun here (...except the barrel!)

Chemist...not #####ing at you in ANY way...I read the disclaimer...Thanks again!

Well, you could remove the existing bead and have a new bead hole drilled and tapped i guess. That would allow you to install a bead more in line. Probably pretty cheap.

Did you take the barrel off yet? My sight seemed off until I took off the barrel and just rotated it to the right and put it back together.

Oh, Guys, It was sold out.

OUCH now i really feel like a tool for having missed this deal!!!

Mine arrived and it is great. I did a bit of deburring and a lot of polishing and the gun is just great! It'll never be as smooth as my 870 but it's very, very close.

When I first got it I took it straight out without even cleaning the factory grease off of it and it ran great!

Thanks a lot for the great deal!

Yep, got mine Thursday, cleaned it and shoot it this weekend. Functions flawlessly and a damn good deal. I ran about a box of ####-shot and 6 rounds of buck shot.

I plan on:

1. Smoothing out the trigger pull as it is pretty crunchy.
2. Removing the trigger itself and beveling the edges of it as I find it cuts into your finger.
3. Tightening up the rear stock as it is a bit loose.
trigger smoothing, the trigger itself
