Norinco 84-S Why Prohibited?

Out of curiosity can someone tell me what makes the Norinco 84-S prohibited when rifles like the CZ 858 in its various forms are not?

Can the 84-S be made legal?
 
The CZ858 is NOT an AK vairant, where as the 84-s IS an AK variant, thusly making it prohibited.

There is no way that an 84-s can be non-prohibited, besides having it deactivated first.

Because the Liberal f*cks would have you believe that puppies & kittens all over the world die as soon as it is taken out of its case.

The Libs didn't prohibit the AK.

Sure Kim Campbell restricted them before that, but didn't prohibit them, besides she was prett'near a lib anyways.

You're incorrect. C-17 prohibited the 12(3) (4) and (5) guns, not C-68.

I find it odd that people expect logic to play a part in it at all.
The gun laws are made by people that do not like guns. Imagine if Motor Vehicle laws were made by people that couldn't drive.
 
IIRC the Norinco variants including the RPK (Model 87?) were specifically listed as prohibs under OIC # 13 which was presented by the f*cktard Allan Rock.

In either case who presented it is irrelevant.. there is simply no sound logic behind the regs.

OIC #13 was prior to C-68 but after C-17?

I know my Bren went prohib after C-17, but maybe I've got the 12(5) guns mis-remembered.

$hit, I can't hardly remember where I put my car keys these days.
 
Gun laws are all ridicules in canada. No one gun is more or less deadly than the next. If there wasn't a 10 round limit on pistols would you have the urge to shoot people just cause you have 17 in the mag. How long does it take you to switch mags in your ar?

The Libs didn't know about the 858 back when former prohibited weapons order #13 was passed.

they where baned because your law makers and politicians all suffer from a a two part mental dissorder!!! they suffer from liberalism, and hoplophobia, witch is the fear of weapons! so make sure to run them over with your cars and trucks so they can declare thsoe weapons aswell, because with their hoplophobia, any thing that could be used as a weapon is then labled as such!

I hear ya!

The laws that came down in the last 20 years are mind boggling: so many regs then subsequent changes / confiscations etc.. hard to keep it all straight.

Because it is a totally different rifle?

Maybe I am becoming cynical after hearing that anti's use this site for research but I have to question a 0 trader rating/6 post member who joined last fall. You must have read at least one post stating the 858 is not an AK by now.
 
The Oka Crisis made the government s**t in its diaper so it took away all military in appearance firearms and neutered all our magazines, the poly tech shooting was just used as the justification.

This is just my opinion of course.

I think your incorrect, My Norinco 84s was bought with the old FAC, then C17 came along and had to register it and it became rectricted then out of knowwhere it became 12-5 with the LIB's then it was no longer permitted to leave the house .
of coarse I could be missing something:confused:
