I just got this evil looking street sweeper (my first shotty) for my birthday, and I tried it out yesterday (Aug 3rd) at the PoCo range. I put about 12 rounds of #7 birdshot through her before I was politely informed by one of the range wardens that shooting buckshot was a no-no, and I wondered why until my Dad in law told me that his 25 meter target looked like a sieve. (oops!)
I resorted to shooting off my "Bear Busters" (Federal 3" 1 and 3/4 ounce rifled slugs) and I found that this load is not the best to be used for casual target practice. Every time I blasted off with one of these artillery shells, the entire range got quiet, although I heard a few chuckles when the resulting recoil had it's way with me. (Note to self: cheap ass hard plastic fold away stock sucks, must buy Knoxx stock or similar)
Other than that, this $260 version of the Remington 870P ($500 and up) worked flawlessly, it is identical to form and function to the 870P that I have trained with at work!

You need to upload your pics to an online picture site like photobucket, then link it to this forum.

Here is a step by step:

I thank you for your help, but I don't even have the "manage attachments" option availiable to me when I go to post messages. Even one of the Admin guys was stumped by my problem, I don't know what the matter is. I have used PhotoBucket plenty of times on other forums.....

#7 shot is small bird shot. They tend to bounce back.
"...3" 1 and 3/4 ounce rifled slugs..." Off a bench? OUCH!! It's a 1.25 ounce slug(547 grains), but OUCH!!!.
Federal makes a 10 Ga 1.75 oz slug.

Actually, I was standing up to shoot-the seated position scared me.... my shoulder looks like a true "bruise mosaic" 6 days after that session. Everytime I take off my shirt, it's something new!!!!
I'm looking to get a Knoxx "SpecOps" stock in the near future to remedy this crippling feature of my Norinco. Other than that, I LOVE this pig!!!

There's a good chance you might not be holding the shotgun right if it did that to you.

A couple of weeks ago I put over 300 rounds through my rem 870 with an M4 collapsible stock on it in the span of 26 hours. Nothing smaller than Mo. 4's. 3 inch slugs, buck shot, #2, #4...

Not a single mark on my shoulder.

Might want to make sure you are placing the butt correctly in your shoulder. :)

Is you shotgun like this one?
