i'd save 500 bucks more and buy a pe90..but if i could get on from Marstar for 600 well....... i might have to get two :dancingbanana:

Good. Then Marstar will be sure to charge 1200 to make sure you only buy 1 and they get an extra bit of profit.

I dont know why people always talk like this...

Yeah... pfffft.... buy one from Marstar for $199.95
I don't know why you guys keep beating a dead horse.

Last time I checked, Marstar didn't have a fukken clue that these guns are made in Semi Auto, or they are in Canada (sincerely, they are in the country since quite some time).
Marstar info was obsolete and outdated on this one.
Sorry, no pun intended, johnone.

So, how is the deal with Norinco who got refused by Lever Arms?
Nobody jumped this opportunity?

perhaps I didn't choose the right smilies, sarcasm is a hard thing to convey over the internet. what i was trying to say was i would spend my 2500 bucks in a different way.

I like the sniper variant even better!

The QBU 88 IS NOT a variant of QBZ-95, it came before the Type 95. I read somewhere that the QBU-88 is essentially the scaled-down, bullpupped and improved version of Type 79/85(th SVD clones)........

..... but if they really trying to bring them to Canada, I hope that they'll ditch their proprietary optic mount and replaced it with Picatinny rails and find a way to mount the bipod, as the bipod was mounted directly onto the barrel.......

I love these. I'll bring one in (even if it is only for pissing off Deckard:p).

Well, we'll see about the prohib issue:)

Sometimes, what it seems to be is way different than it really is;)
Like the guys in the pics, for example: they are even uglier with the hood-masks, they look like they are in "tortue ninja" disguise for Haloween or something, but we do know that it's unlikely... They are "state security" troops (anti-tero and simmilar tasks).
Also, the guys in the front row have different helmets (smaller) and the rank sign on the shoulder says
"pre-lieutenent", "sub-lieutenent" (considered in eastern armies to be a transient rank during or around graduation from the officer school). But we do know that the pic is intended to be for propaganda purposes...

I predict that we'll see an infusion of cool chinese guns (some of them bullpups) in the year to come, unless, of course, s**t happens in the election.
Cheers
:)

5.56 shorty version.

Its no FN F2000, but should be decent as its being made for the military primarily so quality might be better then the new batches of SKS.

Which will make to Canada first?

Which Pullpup will make it to Canada first, on mass: The Tavor or Norinco Type 97? Can't wait to have one. :D

Doesnt norinco make some 50BMG rifle? I seem to remember something.

The tavor might make it in first, but the norinco will probably be alot more afordable. But if the Norinco is already on the FRT disk that would mean it could get into the country and past customs alot faster.

I'm not aware of that. But if it's true, it's not military grade, since 50 BMG is not a cartrige specific to the chinese military. Unless, of course is a mod version of a gun in 12.7 Russian or 14.5 Russian or smthng like that (which would be cool, because the gun would be a lot "over-dimensioned", those being much more powerfull cartriges than BMG).

Those two Chinese big bores in 12.7mm Sovjet......

M99- It may looks like a clone of AI AS50 but it is not. Although it is also gas-operated but M99 uses AR15-style rotating bolt while AS50 is tilting bolt. The receiver of M99 is machined from a Aluminum billet, which appears bulkier than the one on AS50 but it is whole 2KG lighter(12KG vs. 14.1KG).

JS(Jian She) 12.7mm Sniper Rifle- This is a bolt-action repeater and has a hydraulic buffer system. It also features picatinny rail, which is a positive move for the Chinese arms industries.
