Lever is. I saw the first one Dr Van Nostran (Lever arms) got in a while ago . In what seems to be a trend, it looks better in person than in the pictures. I only had a few mins to look, but I'd say for a non-restricted bullpup configuration rifle for under $1000 you can't go wrong. We
re seeing the beginning of a new era ladies and gentlemen, one in which all the old gun laws have been finally untangled and we get to play with the cool stuff again!!! Jump on the wagon, come to the shoots and try em yourselves! I think they have 5 ?for sale? as of last check, but you'll have to contact them yourself to find out.

P.S. - I'm putting some money on the tavor and Type 97 being on a proposed ban list eventually, so grab one while you can, cus you'll fight ten times as hard for the right to have one if you already do.

I've seen pics but no firearms There must be something we do not understand in general......Maybe we should all call C.F.O.s and the R.C.M.P. to make things more clear, and futhermore the conservative minority government. Methinks it is time to look for other Canadian suppliers, as the current ones seem to be having a lazy turn at the wheel of their past monopoly in this market.

I think there is some desinformation - I spoke to someone in LeverArms over the phone today and the I've been told 97 is restricted. And it is unknown whether thy will ever get their hands on it again. So for me 97 is out of question. Darn I never knew having cool deer gun will be such hussle.

It is restricted because of its barrel lenght.
Spend some money to have a longer barrel made,
inform CFC, and it can be non-res.

Any rifle, shotgun or carbine stock of the type known as the "bull-pup" design, being a stock that, when combined with a firearm, reduces the overall length of the firearm such that a substantial part of the reloading action or the magazine-well is located behind the trigger of the firearm when it is held in the normal firing position."

You would not be able to import it.and this would be
