Norinco?? any good?

I owned two firearms made by Norinco and I'm not planning to buy any more.
Ever.
I'm glad I sold what I had.
Better save your money and go with the quality firearms.
Buy once, cry once.

Nope, I figure if I don't tell the wife the combination to the gun room or vault, I can keep the SIG collection and now start on a Norinco collection. What she doesn't know can't hurt me, BUT if she finds out, there will be a large collection going cheap.

If that ever happens, PM me first, ok? :p

:agree:

Never forget the old adage that you get what you pay for.

Yes, and in some caes (like the Norinco 1911) you get MORE than you paid for!

The first 1911's (about 10 years ago) were a little rough in finish, but strong as hell, and worked great. Now, they even look damned good!!! What more can a guy ask for?

Well, nobody ever accused the Ruger Mk. series of being beautiful, but they do shoot well, have a good trigger, and will eat just about any brand of .22 you feed it. :D

Failing that, have you considered the CZ 75/85 series 9mm pistols, with a .22 conversion kit?

No not that pistol in particular, but I'll take a look at it. Thanks.

So I've pretty much gotten the responses that I expected. They go from love them (certain models at least) to won't touch them with a ten foot pole. Obviously the responses from people who actually own or have owned them carry more weight. But in the end when it comes time (when I recieve my rpal) I'll have to go with my gut instinct.
