Norinco AR's

I would like to know how much does it cost for Norinco to make these rifles and the hourly wage at Nornico compared to say Stag or Armalite.

Norinco makes FINE products that people can afford. The Chinese don't really R&D but rip off and copy (much like the Japanese used to do say 20-30 years ago) and like the Japanese they tend to make improvements along the way (chrome lined bore for example on the SKS) lets face it 90% of the bashing and #####ing about the Norc's on GN's isn't because of the product but in reality because of the politics and personal bias some people have against anything Chinese and likely including against the Chinese people.

i've had a lot of fun with mine and for what i paid...I couldnt imagine me spending 3 times more on a "better" one.

^^mediocre in a class of its own... I'm sorry I gave my opinion on this thread its not like I really give a damn. to each their own... I guess

my cq 311 is a tack driver
paid $500 from lever
awesome rifle all i changed was the hand guard and pistol grip
never had any ssues with it at all . awesome bang for the buck :D

I'm not knocking the Original CQ-311 I have one and it is very accurate and my 15 year son prefers it over my tricked out RRA and Armalite. It's just that the quality of machining is better on the CQ-311 then the new ones, and I paid $500 for the CQ311. The Norc M4 should not be be priced anywhere near $900.00 It should have reflected what the CQ-311 went for with say 100-200 for it being a carbine.

Last I heard it was "we hope six months."

I was told on the phone they have a big order coming but that they are nervous about giving a time frame...which given the various delays in Chinese gun imports I think is probably wise.

I am definitely interested to see what Marstar sells them for.

I own 5 norc products and love them all.

Haters are just mad that they spent 3X times MORE on a product with just a little bit nicer finish and touches. We should all just buy what u can afford and move on :)

Because NO MATTER what you spent on the gun it mean NOTHING compare to the $$$ you spend on AMMO!!! lol

Jamie would you rather have people not buying an AR or would you rather see people get hooked on the sport with an affordable rifle? I bought my norinco in june. It's my first AR and I couldn't be happier with it...... It wasn't a tough choice considering the next best thing is almost twice the price. Everybody else i've talked to that has one is just as impressed as I am.
