I can see why the US has banned chinese weapon imports... would sink thier AR line...and M1A line
Why would you sell the Stag and keep the Norinco POS.
I would like to know how much does it cost for Norinco to make these rifles and the hourly wage at Nornico compared to say Stag or Armalite.
Looking at the price for the Norc M4 and then at the price the Czechs charge for -858's, it's still too much.
Actually, the price doesn't seem that much lower than what Questar was listing RRA guns for 2-3 years ago...
I have mixed feelings about Norinco firearms... on the one hand I like their M14's a lot but the other knockoff guns I've seen from them have been pretty crappy. Sure they go bang but they're garbage when you compare them to the original gun they're copying. For instance, I had a real Colt Combat Commander, and a Norinco knockoff. The difference in quality and accuracy was obvious.
Also there is an ethical issue (I find) in buying guns from an enemy communist country that enslaves its own people and doesn't allow them to own the products they are selling us.
So, IMO, it's worth it to spend more on better quality guns made in North America, where part of your purchase is going to lobby for gun rights, and you know you're supporting employment on our own continent.
My 2 cents

The CQ311s were supposed to come with 1:12 rifling.I love my POS CQ-311 - only had grips and furniture changed - otherwise great gun - accurate (outshoots some "pimped" AR's!) and has NEVER failed at anything! Besides the 1:9 twist can easily accommodate the .22 LR conversion kit.

Well, Liberals have been trying for years (in the only ways their feeble minds can concept). And there is no more Diemaco... that fact has become redundant. Our government would probably enslave us if they could. There is also the case for Diemaco.
