Norinco cq a 5.56

Just got a Norc M4 on Friday, sighted in on Sat. From a sandbag rest at 50 yards I didn't get a 5 shot group that was bigger than a toonie and 1 that smaller then a quarter. No FTF or FTE tried 4 kinds of ammo Winchester, Remington. American Eagle and steel case MFS. Fit and finish is excellent. My friend Mark had his brand new Stag at the range and the quality of the Norc for 1/2 the price is amazing. I had a Colt AR 15 twenty five years ago and I don't think the fit and finish was any better. Will continue to dress it up. I have a Bushnel Legend 5 x 15 scope on it all for under $900.00 buy one I don't think you would regret it.

The fit and finish on mine is great, seems allot of people use this to put them down and I'm sure in the past it was an issue, however not anymore. A CQB match went down a little while ago and two members from the board scored first and second place with CQ A norks:D these rifles are clearly the best deal in Canada right now.

It's not just price, its really what you want. Get what you want not what is right for your ScotiaOne account today. I have the Norc and love it. If i wanted the Stag, i would have waited another year if need be to get it. I wantd a modern combat pistol. I always liked the Glock and it just happened to be 45% less than a Sig 226. My luck because thats what i always wanted. I want a new 1911 and just because i like the CQa and many love the Nork copy i can't bring myself to get the Norc 1911 because its not what i want . I want a Springfield and will wait till it is in my budget. It's like someone stated so precisely in another thread it will cost many times over the price of the firearm to feed it in a very short time and in a year or two the intial price won't matter. Just that you have what you want and are satisfied. You get what you pay for usually, unless something is grossly overpriced, so make sure you don't spend the best part of your life getting what you think you can only afford, and not what you want. Most of us are not happy with less.

Just picked one up for my wife ;), so awesome !!!!

Currently in the USA you can pick up a Stag for $900, advertised in guns&ammo, same model $1800ish up here. If this were the same up here I'd say don't bother with Norinco.

Seems like most black firearms in Canada are just that, don't get me wrong I would love a local AR or even a Stag but at those prices it would be a tough call making the plunge into an AR. Now that Ive fallen head over heels with the platform I'm looking forward to building my own custom knowing what to expect. If your looking to get into an AR grab a nork you wont be disappointed.

Just received mine today. I'm impressed. Took it apart and don't see much difference from any other models. Maybe the type of metal used is different. As for loossness, Pretty tight , no ratteling. the firing/safety selector was a bit hard at first. Can't wait to try it on the range.

I love my Norinco CQ AR-15!

I have Added a Troy Industries 4-way battle rail/fore grip, Tapco handle rail to mount BSA 1x to 3x Red Dot tactical scope.

The ONLY negative with this kit are the two 5/30 round mags that come with the rifle.

After a few hundred rounds, the black paint gets chipped off the follower by the bolt and it fails to hang open on the last round like it is suppose to do. Which means cycling the charging handle before every new mag instead of the enjoyable slapping of the bolt release to chamber a round.

Solution: I bought the 5/30 Magpul P-mags(shown in mag well) with nice green nylon followers and have never had a problem since.
