Norinco cq a 5.56

ok, so I got some new springs, I watched youtube to find out how to take the bolt apart and now I have another question...if I use a punch to remove the roll pin that holds the ejector, will the pin itself be destroyed and where can I get a new pin?
or better yet, is there an AR doctor in the house?

Both my buddy and I have the cq a and we have a blast with them. No pun intended. We both feel that for the price you cant beat it. The lowers are good, add a better upper and you have a solid AR IMO. I just finished a muzzle break for it and Im excited to go and see how it performs. I will post pics later

I have many main line type AR's and I still want one. I have shot a couple of them and they shoot and look pretty decent. Actually, I wouldn't mind having both barrel lengths. I'm a little obsessed, but aren't we all?

LOL I`ve seen 3 threads and 4 or 5 pics of this rifle in 2 hours! You must have just put this together. With Norc in hand run around your house like this w:h:
then take it and :jerkit: and go to sleep FFS!

Lyman has a roll pin punch set that has 4 different sizes. Should be under $20. It will allow you to properly remove and replace roll pins without damaging them as long as you don't go full retard smacking on them.

If you are trying to take the ejector apart from the bolt, it is easy with no punches required.
Press down on the back end of the ejector that is sticking up a bit and at the same time, use the firing pin and push the roll pin through.
After you take the pressure off the pin by compressing that spring a bit, the roll pin almost falls out.
Note: do this over a towel as the small ejector spring may fall out after the roll pin comes out.

Are you sure you are talking about the ejector and not the extractor? That is how I take out my extractor to clean it and it does not have a roll pin, just a confentional solid pin.
