Unless you want to stay with the iron sights, remove the carry handle, install a riser and low powered variable scope. Any decent quality hunting scope will be fine.
There are a couple of ways of smoothing and removing creep from the trigger. First is the bootlace trigger job. Install a pad in front of the hammer so that it cannot strike the lower receiver. Hook a bootlace, etc. around the hammer. Pull hard while squeezing the trigger. Repeat numerous times. The extra load will help smooth the engagement.
Then there is the setscrew trigger job. The grip screw hole comes up under the trigger. Basically, you install a setscrew which presses on the trigger, rotating it slightly to take up some creep. You must not move the trigger far enough that the safety is compromised. Try googling 15 minute trigger job, or some such. You will find detailed instructions.
There are all sorts of tactikewl modifications popular with the mirror kommando crowd. No harm playing Mr. Dressup with your carbine if it gives pleasure, but performance trumps appearance.
Better to put money into range time and ammunition than into doodads, gimcracks and gewgaws.
